SUJU’s Heechul Advises SNSD Taeyeon to Not Look at Internet

Super Junior’s Heechul shared a sincere piece advice with his friend, Girls’ Generation (SNSD)’s Taeyeon.

During October 14’s broadcast of On Style’s The TaeTiSeo, he touched Taeyeon’s heart by giving her a piece of advice.

Heechul said, “Don’t look at the internet and don’t listen to the words of people whose faces you can′t see. If you can see their faces, they are saying something by risking their name. But other people...” and showed himself pretending to type.

He then said, “Don’t be hurt. Not anymore,” as he stroked Taeyeon’s head.

When Taeyeon said, “Thanks for coming,” Heechul responded, “Let’s not say thing like ‘sorry’ or ‘thank you’ between us.”

i read somewhere that heechul and jessica used to be super close but a couple of years ago suddenly they stopped hanging out and he and taeyeon became close. idk if this is true tbh.

taeyeon bothers me a lot and in general i find her shady but some of the vitriol towards her is a bit too much. i highly doubt she's the only one responsible for jessica's departure yet people paint her as if she kicked her out personally. i wonder if she's still racist tho

i was thinking about that earlier. I was wondering when the transition happened (not to say relationships can't co exist or w/e) but when snsd first debuted I'm pretty sure heesica were definitely close or got along fairly well and I don't recall heechul and taeyeon being close in general. Heechul would describe jessica as a female version of him and she was part of the hee line and all so when on radio star they asked which suju member you are close to I was surprised jessica said none and taeyeon said heechul.

Personally I don't necessarily like Taeyeon but couldn't this have been said between them in private not actually broadcast the whole shebang, it just seems sort of fake to me

Heechul may have the maturity of a twelve year old but his loyalty to his friends is always touching. He was the first member of super junior to show support for Geng when he was facing all kinds of racist bullshit from the media and the fans (Geng was the first non-korean to hit the k-pop music scene). I actually started liking Heechul when I heard him say something like "there's been a lot of buzz about our nationality but I don't think that matters. There may be a language barrier, but I would much rather talk to Hankyung than some Korean stranger next door." Even after Geng left he kept defending Zhou Mi and Henry from similar attacks. And when Yunho got poisoned he posted a very angry rant on his blog, he clearly took that personally. Telling Taeyeon not to look at the internet would be the same thing I'd tell a friend in the same situation. Behind the silly sense of humor and the attention whoring there's a heart of gold, I'm telling you.
