Nicole preparing for November solo comeback under B2M

It has just been confirmed that former KARA member Nicole has signed with B2M Entertainment.

B2M is also host to Lee Hyori, SPICA, and Eric Nam.

Just now, a B2M Entertainment representative has stated, "Nicole has been quietly preparing for a solo album, and as a new part of our agency, we plan to accelerate the album preparations in earnest."

B2M Entertainment's president/CEO is Gil Jonghwa, who worked with KARA from their debut up until their days as one of Korea's top groups. It seems that because of this Gil Jonghwa knows better than anyone what Nicole's potential as a solo artist is.

B2M Entertainment continued, "Nicole decided on all of the details of the contract's terms and conditions and her agenda with CEO Gil Jonghwa, and in order to make preparations worthy of Nicole, who has enjoyed immense popularity in Korea, Japan, and all of Asia, we naturally finalized a fully prepared contract in order to support Nicole."

UPDATE: B2M Entertainment has just released another statement via Star News that Nicole will most likely be making her big comeback in November.

The agency stated, "Nicole will release her first solo album in November," continuing, "During the time that she was alone Nicole prepared a solo album, and now that we have joined forces we plan to release her solo album quickly, and currently it seems that the release will fall in November."

B2M isn't the best at keeping to their promises (see: Spica's cancelled June comeback, mythical full album, Boa's solo etc) so I'm not holding my breath for November. steampressed about Boa's solo still nowhere on the horizon but I'll be supporting Nicole.. unless she's absolutely terrible? idk much about her so omona how do you think she'll do? also I'm not sure how to tag this? is 'ex-group members' relevant? can I get a B2M tag

her singing is quite adequate for an idol during her time at kara, with occasional adlib parts too, i don't understand the comments that are picking on her voice. idt one really needs a powerhouse voice to go solo (eg sunmi, hyosung, jiyeon, and the list goes on)

What are you all saying she isn't a bad singer, she can rap better than most idols and dance so... and I always thought she had presence on stage. With the right song/concept/choreo she could have some success (we're talking about kpop in the end). I don't think she'll be the next it girl but she can go somewhere. Idk.
However, I don't think I really trust B2M.
And OP, I thought they were waiting for Spica.S's promotions to end before releasing Boa's solo, so maybe it's still happening ? #letmebelieve #stillindenial

Spica.S just ended their promotions last week! but Boa was seen in LA a few days ago.. I thought she was back in Korea but I guess not :/ she's been there for at least a month? idk what she's doing but her instagram has been pretty emo :(

on Moon Hee Jun's Pure 15+ Narae recited the standard line "she's preparing for her solo" but when MHJ asked what kind of 'feel' the solo would have, she and Juhyun basically admitted that she hasn't even received a song yet u__u and in a Pops In Seoul interview Jiwon said Boa's "seeking inspiration from afar" ~_~ yeah really far like Los Angeles.....

if Spica.S is Part 1 of the Spica Project then I'm sure there will be a Part 2, but at this point I don't think it's gonna be anytime soon. more worried about Boa rn than anything else tbh :(

This isn't surprising to me but I still can't imagine sitting through an entire album of her voice. It's not even the pure level of ability - she's not great and to be honest no one in KARA really is and I say that as a fan, but she can hold a tune at least 75% of the time. It's just the tight, nasal, pinched tone to her voice drives me up the wall. There's no depth or smoothness to it at all. Good for her, though. She's wanted this for a long time.

Congrats to Nicole and B2m get your shit together.

Why are people in this post acting like Nicole is audacious or something or wanting a solo career (which I didn't know was handed down by the gods to only the Kpop greats)? She was always the highlight of Kara's MVs, can sing/rap/dance fairly well, and is seriously adorable + charisma!! It's not like she's Goo Hara with her tone deaf ass voice, she'll do fine.

I'm very upset about the majority of these comments. Before Nicole's mom v DSP (and even after) Nicole was the best, with the most effort, the most stage charisma.I think she has odds against her because some KARA fans and DSP are against her but I am rooting for her
