Cho, the man who claims to be Cha No Ah‘s biological father has cancelled his
lawsuit against Cha Seung Won.

According to news sources, Cho submitted a cancellation for his lawsuit to the
Seoul Central District Court through his lawyer on October 7.

Previously, Cho sued Cha Seung Won and his wife Lee for damaging his pride as
the biological father of Cha No Ah, demanding 100 million Korean won as
compensation. He cited Lee’s essay published in 1999 about her marriage to Cha
Seung Won and raising their child as misleading.

In a call with journalists, he said, "Nothing's happened." Regarding son Noa, he

replied, "My child did not know. Do not worry because we are remaining calm and
handling everything."

When asked about the lawsuit scandal, he said, "I do not know the man.
Everything will be fine. Time moves on just fine, doesn't it? I'm living life
just as I used to. There's nothing to worry about. There's really nothing to
worry about so please don't feel concerned. I have to meet someone right now so
let's talk later."

1. [+4,588, -37] So his son didn't know. That

biological father needs to go die for doing this to him.

2. [+4,080, -26] I hope Noa wakes up and becomes a filial son for his father now

instead of upsetting him all the time.

3. [+3,100, -24] He sounds like someone who truly knows what love is... Amazing.

4. [+2,369, -19] You can tell that he truly hopes as a father that his son does
not get hurt in all of this... Find strength!

5. [+576, -3] He suffered through all those rumors of him having a child out of
wedlock at such a young age... It all makes me so sad for him that I don't know
what to say.

6. [+503, -5] What that biological father is doing is throwing his son away
twice... He took a family's painful past that they so carefully kept buried and
dug it out for the entire nation to see.

7. [+458, -6] Noa just needs to listen to everything his dad says and he will
lead a successful life. Respect your father.

8. [+400, -8] Cha Noa, stop chasing after the ladies and stop upsetting your
parents

Seung Won couple

1. [+3,404, -27] Seems he read public sentiment and felt something.. as if
throwing his own kid away wasn't enough, he tried to get money out of it tsk tsk

2. [+2,499, -32] Ha.. hopeless.. It'll be hard for Noa to deal with all of this,

even if the ordeal made the family stronger

3. [+2,451, -18] His biological father was too blinded by money..

4. [+1,941, -32] Poor Noa, poor Cha Seung Won.. I hope they get through this

5. [+1,255, -13] How can he just do this to a family that was doing just fine
and disappear again like nothing happened? He has no right to be anything, not
even a father

Well it's fortunate the man realized he's awful and canceled the
lawsuit...the Cha Family will work it out.

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing for the son to know that he's got another biological father... lots of conditions and temperaments are genetic so maybe knowing he's not 100% his father's son will help him to understand himself better.

But I don't know how much stigma there is about this in Korea.

I don't think it's bad per se, but I do condemn the manner in which he got to know it.

Such a horrible way of knowing that you have a different father. No Ah is a mess but nobody deserves finding out your family's dirty laundry aired out in public because of a douchebag sperm donor.

Hopefully now he'll be a better person, knowing he was raised so lovingly by a man who wasn't even his biological father.

Actually, the first thing that come out from my mind when I first read the news is that 'Did his son know that he is not his biological father?'

He is an actor and he is living a life of a makjang drama as well. :O But for him to marry his wife at such a young age despite not being the father of the child his wife his carrying is so admirable. He must love her so much!

Noah is Cha Seungwon's son. He's a pro gamer. He got busted for weed and a sexual assault charge. Cha Seungwon got married practically right out of high school and didn't really hide his wife and son when he was starting out as a celeb.

And now apparently the kid's birth father came out of nowhere claiming he's the real father.

The sperm donor can diaf, this is the worst kind of way to find out about a biological parent.
