Q1: What is the reason that makes you decide to have your own fashion product other than music?
Sica: Other than making music, I am also very interested in fabrics and weaving. Moreover, since young, fashion is something that I'm obsessed with.
Q2: What is the meaning of BLANC & ECLARE?
Sica: "Blanc" represents white and 'Eclare' is 'Clara' translated from Latin. It signifies purity and light. When these two words combined together, they perfectly interpreted the brand's design which is classic and simple.
Q3: Why did you choose to showcase your line of sunglasses first?
Sica: I feel that sunglasses is an important factor which decides whether a certain outfit is successful or not. I really pay attention to the details of a fashion outfit, and I feel that sunglasses is an accessory that were neglected by many people.
Q4: Which kind of girl would like 'BLANC & ELCARE’?
Sica: She must be elegant and witty, likes to combine her formal and casual wear, and likes to go for outdoor picnics and of course, she must love shopping!
Q5: What would 'BLANC & ELCARE’ be coming out with next?
Sica: Currently, we are working hard in experimenting perfumes and designing fashionable clothes that are one of a kind. Also, we would be having a few collaboration projects to promote a charity campaign. We respect charity work a lot.
Q6: Compared to Seoul, what strengths does Shanghai have?
Sica: I didn’t stay long in Shanghai but right now, as far as I see, my impression of Shanghai is that it’s huge, modern and it is filled with vibrant energy. I am very willing to take one step further to discover and experience this city. I heard this place has great stuff!
Q7: What is the similarity between Music and Fashion? How are these two combined?
Sica: In both music and fashion, it is necessary for some trend leaders to lead them. They have many common points and also depends on each other.
Q8: What is your style like?
Sica: Mine is simple and elegant, but at the same time, I pay attention to the details.
A9: Who are some of your favourite fashion designers?
Sica: Coco Chanel, Chitose Abe, Alexander Wang and Simone Rocha. They are my favourites.
A10: In this season, what do you think is the iconic fashion?
Sica: I guess my favourite wear in this season would be wool sweaters, perfectly cut jeans and oversized jackets/coats.
A11: What superpower would you wish to have?
Sica: The power to teleport. I love to travel but I don’t like the amount of strenuous time spent to get to a certain place.
