i just listened to the original. ses' voices is far suited for this song imo. they sounded more mature, sensual and natural. this remake seems forced imo, i only liked wendy's voice in it. nevertheless, their visuals are amazing.
i agree soooo hard omg. s.e.s. sounded waaay more mature, sensual and- lol - natural. even though red velvet probably has more than one good singer in the whole group oop.
The choreography is real nice and smooth here. The song is pretty good. The ladies look lovely imo. The rap....it messed with me bad but, I still like taeyong's potential. I didn't even know their MV was set to be released today. The pre-promotion for this release seems really quick.
They're not. Idk, if they rushed the MV because of the scandal but it's very poorly edited and shot. And I'm pretty sure that corridor set was used in one of 2AM's MVs. In fact, most of the set looks recycled. Fuck SM tbh, RV deserve more than this but I fear they're going to end up like f(x); under-promoted and mismanaged.

They look gorgeous and did a great job but IA with most others that this seems kinda thrown together )maybe b/c SM doesn't have much going on right now?) I've seen youtube dance cover videos better than this tbh.

I'm only assuming but with SM's lack of effort and the crazy wild jump of concept from Happiness to Be Natural, I'm thinking SM doesn't know yet how to market Red Velvet and are slyly trying to test each one out and see what the public likes better? This is their second single after a mere 2 months which is weird for an SM group without having to release even a physical album so idk what SM is planning for these girls. It's cool to see how far SM artists have come since SES first released the song when you compare the two. That said, I think there are songs that would have suited them better. I feel like they are too young to really pull off the song. Love or Twilight Zone would have been better choices.
can SM please just stop using that one-take revolving camera whatever you call it that they've been using for almost every comeback, it's giving me a headache.
