I don't get the Amber haters saying she shouldn't dress like a guy since she's in a girl band. Let her dress whatever she likes. If it's SM telling her how to dress, then blame SM, not her.
Just saying...I think she actually has a much better singing voice than rapping voice. Her flow is a little off; it's not hard enough. And I don't like what the stylists give her to wear. She would be so much fiercer in a thin black jacket, some skinny jeans and pair of black stilettos. This look is TOO boyish, it makes her look like my little brother.
I agree. I haven't really gotten the vibe she was being forced to dress in such a "boyish" way, she never really looks uncomfortable. And being a girl, who used to dress very boyish for a while, I don't see the big deal. Maybe for her it's just a phase.
Plus, seriously, look at how often Companies change styles for their groups. Once this is over, and they come out with the next album, they will probably market her with a different style, and then everyone will start bitching about her wardrobe...again.
She doesn't seem anymore awkward than any other debuting wannabe starlet. She's also not a native to Korea or the langauge, so that could have a factor in a lot of things too.
As far as the rapping, no offense, but half of these female rappers in these girl groups can't rap. I'm pretty sure it's very easy to write a few lines, train a girl how to sound a little edgy, and lay it on a track. Plus, she's rapping someone elses song, fort minor at that. They are not that good of a rap group themselves, so she really didn't have a decent choice to provide a good look at her "skillz".
I'm usually pretty picky, but I'm sastified, as a person that doesn't do the huge girl group craze, with what I've been given. Especially with this being a Showcase, and with Lachata being a debut. I think people take this stuff way too seriously.
Bump that, i like FM and i'm pissy. M. shinoda does not approve! (i'm sure he does) Wonk.. but good for her she's staying true. They recruited her for a reason. So what if she is boy-chic, i'm over it. I've seen it done better. Show me whatcha got F(x) as a group. I wasn't impressed with the vid or the leaky showcases.
