M.I.B Kangnam’s Lifestyle Revealed On Mbc “I Live Alone”

M.I.B’s adorable member Kangnam’s single life was revealed on “I Live Alone.”

On October 3rd’s episode of “I Live Alone,” M.I.B’s Kangnam, who is restlessly participating in various programs, appeared on stage.

Born from a Korean mother and a Japanese father, Kangnam moved to Korea to fulfill his dream of becoming a singer. Kangnam still lives in an old house in Korea.

No Hongchul, after seeing Kangnam’s blonde hair, stated that Kangnam looks like himself in the past. Fabian also stated that he saw Kangnam when they were playing football.

Kangnam stated that he is the strong man of the group M.I.B and said that he has lived in Korea for 4 years now, 2 of those years alone.

On October 3, M.I.B Kangnam’s lifestyle as a rising star was revealed on the recent episode of MBC “I Live Alone.”

In the latest episode of “I Live Alone,” Kangnam’s background was revealed. Born to a Japanese mother and a Korean father, Kangnam moved to Korea four years ago to follow his dream to become a singer. Even to this day, he still lives in an old house in Yongmun-dong, Seoul.

On the show, Kangnam was even seen calling up the 114 directory line when his television did not work. Scenes of Kangnam removing weeds around his place of living as he held a scythe in his hand prone laughter from Fabian, who said, “This is really old. It’s like a rural drama.”

Kangnam was quoted saying on the show to producers, “I want to start working quickly. We [M.I.B] don’t have a lot on our schedule yet. So I lay around watching TV in the house. I see other idols being active on TV, I get envious. Our president said he would make us big, and to work hard, so I will work hard until that day.”

A segment of the show also revealed Kangnam visiting his bank, where it was revealed his account only held 3,422 won, approximately $3 USD. Kangnam, surprised at his balance, asked the bank teller, “Is there something wrong with the balance? I had more money before,” to which the teller replied, “You had a little more money three months ago.”

But Kangnam kept a positive outlook, especially after calling his manager regarding his balance, who told him he himself was in the negative. Cheering himself on with a “Hwaiting,” Kangnam has captured viewers with his positive personality.

i watched the episode and it was hillarious, esp how he started talking to a total stranger in train
i felt for him when he went to his aunts for food or couldn't get to talk about money with his dad :(

really, being an idol does not pay off....and it sucks because while they kill themselves to just get by, people above them are just swimming in money (or at least having a pretty darn good life)

On a serious note, idols appear to be hellishly poor off unless they are established good and proper. Too much competition nowadays and none of them really stand out.

Maybe that's how it got to be so low? They deduct $2 every month here if it's below $1000 (idk about all banks though) so I guess Kangnam wasn't getting any cash and it just dwindled away :|

My student card (not ID tied to account, just normal card) in Shinhan Bank is free of deductions. I stopped using it in early 2013 and left about 40$ just in case and the amount is still the same. But maybe it's just for students?..
