It looks kind of interesting plus the girl has the exact same face as Erika's character in this short teaser. NGL I thought I'm not gonna watch this but the teaser looks promising tbh.
Plus, if they didnt do any love line like the original, it will be very interesting since it will be the first kdrama to do that. :P
Lee Sang Yoon looks great (they all do! I really hope this will get Kim So Eun more lead roles) but part of Shota's appeal in LG was that hair and the way he used it to throw so much shade at the other contestants.
i'm (finally) watching the japanese drama and i'm about to start the movie
that said i have a lot of doubts that this will work. first, i read that the korean version is going to be about a reality tv show called liar game--um, part of the reason "liar game" was so scary/twisted was that it was some underground game made by unknown people for an unknown purpose. why make it a reality tv show? like, really?
A reality show??? >___> That ruins the entire premise of the show! You should read the manga as well it is amazing and is still be released. I don't think this will be able to complete with the Japanese Drama at all. Hopefully I will be proven wrong because I love the liar game series
Hmm it'd be interesting to see Shin Sung Rok as Akiyama. I'm not feeling very positive about the reality game format either, I'd think it would be too daring to broadcast on tv all these people falling to their demise.
I like the teaser! The televised aspect seems to borrow from "The Quiz Show" jdrama. I think this remake could be good, but not a very faithful adaptation, especially because of Shin Sung-rok's character.
I hate to be one of those people who say "read the manga" but you guys really should because it is amazing and goes much more in depth than the Japanese drama.
Further more I have very low expectations for this especially with its reality show format. I am expecting this to be another To the Beautiful You.
