If you’re still on the fence about starting KBS’s “Blade Man,” here are some legit (and very hilarious) reasons why you should definitely watch.
#1 If you like a lead who has a heightened sense of smell… Joo Hong Bin is the one for you!
Due to some very random things we still don’t know about, Hong Bin’s sense of smell makes you think he’s part dog.
#2 He loves to sniff people.
Especially our leading lady, Son Se Dong — although she thinks he’s a pervert.
#3 Hong Bin has a very loyal (and incredibly adorbs) assistant.
I’m telling you Secretary Ko is part ninja and oh so clueless at times, but extremely loyal to our Marvel mash-up of a CEO.
#4 Then you add in an equally adorbs kid, and you officially have too much cuteness.
Hong Bin’s son, Chang, is the cutest thing ever especially since he wants to marry his Se Dong noona. Awww.
#5 We can’t forget about Hong Bin’s blades…
So apparently he’s like Wolverine and Storm rolled into one: sprouts blades and can cause thunderstorms. Awesome.
#6 … or Se Dong’s cute co-developers…
What’s better than these unusually clueless guys who just want to develop their game? D’awww.
#7… or a possibly evil housekeeper.
Because evil mothers are so 2013.

Date: 2014-10-03 01:07 am (UTC)I think a lot of the big character development happens in those later episodes so definitely go back and give it a watch and you might find yourself understanding everyone more. It's all touching and emotional and all about healing/finding forgiveness. I also think this is Kibum's best acting.

Date: 2014-10-03 03:15 am (UTC)I first watched Jung Woosung is AMTR and I looooooved his character so much in the movie -- a dreamy husband anyone would kill to have so watching the drama in 2012 were kind of make me have 2nd opinion on him lol. After so long admiring his acting -- 6/7 years prior to Padam Padam, I regret so much watching it haha.
But now after reading your comment, I will give the drama a try again and perhaps I will finally GET the character that he is playing in the drama.. :)

It was soooo perfect and well made and the movie and it made me cry a bucket. I always rewatch it at least once a year when I feel like having a good cry haha. What is your fave Jung Woosung's work?

BTW OP, I dont think this drama is the perfect drama for you to discover your love for kdramas. You might gave it up all together since we dont know how the later half of this drama going to unfold..
