YG to Launch Cosmetic Brand “Moonshot” with a Launching Party

YG Entertainment will be venturing into the cosmetic industry with their own makeup brand, “Moonshot.”

Showcasing their new cosmetic brand, YG will be holding a launching party titled “Moon Tanning Party” at Platoon Kunsthalle in Seoul on October 2.

The brand’s name “Moonshot” comes from men’s first landing on Moon in 1969. It holds the meaning of breaking away from the norm of the cosmetic world, and taking on new challenges.

YG’s CEO Yang Hyun Suk, actor Cha Seung Won, Choi Sora, and the brand model Lee Sung Kyung will be present at the brand launching party, along with numerous other fashionistas and celebrities. Epik High will be performing at the event.

“Moonshot” will be releasing more than 200 items in its collection. The offline and online shop will open in mid-October.

they are really good tbh for an every day natural look.

I find etude's bb cushion it to be medium coverage but being buildable, however if you have combination to oily skin I recommend innisfree bb cushion, I liked it better tbh and I find their shades to be slightly warmer than Etude's, it can look a little ghostly imo but for autumn/winter it will be perfect.

Honestly people raves about Laneige's cushion but I found it not only overpriced but it also cakes awfully, not good for warm weathers.

I bought too much stuff in Korea, I literally robbed Too cool for school AND I DON'T EVEN LIKE MAKEUP THAT MUCH
BUT, I need recs for a light foundation, my skin is breaking out a lot so I can't survive only on BB cream but my current foundation is too heavy for every day. I'm also really pale and have really sensitive, dry skin so... anyone?

Maybe starting with a dry oil would be good for your skin
I know of l'Huile prodigieuse by Nuxe and Huile Santal by Clarins and they do wonders

I don't use a foundation cause my skin is extra sensitive so I have a concealer for redness and free powder (both by mac)

Q: Can anyone of you recomment a dark lipstick for someone with rather pale skin? I haven't dared buying anything darker than the typical ~vamp~ red lipstick b/c I fear I'll be looking like a vampire, which I want to avoid during weekdays. ;)

You should give nyx a try. They have really good dark lipstick. My favorite is their licorice butter stick lipstick.

I'd definitely recommend it as a starting point. It ended my years of frustration of trying to find foundations with enough yellow undertones for my skin. Now I can just type in my colour iq number and a bunch of suggestions that are closest to my specific shade will pop up.

innisfree's jeju volcanic range is very good for combination to oily skin, im using the toner every day after i cleanse and its very refreshing. another good stuff for oily skin is skin food's black sugar mask!

I wonder what can YG bring new on the market ? There are already tons of products out there. That statement up there is quite big and I will be pissed off if the products are nothing new >_> Like, you can't scream in my face that your stuff is unheard of and I can find at least 2 dupes for it.

i'm going to korea this year, will need a lot of convincing to buy anything else than the saem. missha has like 1 bb cream that has as little chemicals as i like my cosmetics to be, other than that they're not that gentle. the saem looks pretty promising, though.
i love how they look, but still sticking to my dm ultra sensitive stuff and oils.
