Nicole in Final Discussions to Sign with B2M Entertainment

Former Kara member, Nicole, is currently in final discussions for her contract with B2M Entertainment, which houses Lee Hyori, Spica, and more.

B2M Entertainment told enews on September 25, "We have not signed a contract with Nicole yet," and "However, we are tuning up the final conditions."

The agency rep carefully answered, "This isn′t the first time we′ve met Nicole. In order to prevent mistakes from both sides, we′re in disucssion to see if we can work together well until the end."

Regarding the October comeback rumors, the rep stated, "We know that Nicole has been continuously preparing [for a solo album] since she left Kara. We don′t know how far she has gone in the process."

Ahead of finding a new nest, Nicole has been personally preparing for a solo album using her own connections. If she does sign with B2M Entertainment, her solo comeback is expected to become stronger.

Meanwhile, Nicole left Kara after her contract with DSP Entertainment ended in January.

Will Nicole overcome her three years of walking on a thorned road for a return?

The fighting wasn't the problem. The problem was that they didn't include their leader, they didn't have JYJ-level "manpains", and they eventually stayed with the same crap company. All this stops people from sympathizing (and the fact that they are females, Nicole is American, and most of their wealth is made up of YEN).

All this. If they had gotten Gyuri to the side by the end of the first day the fandom wouldn't have left them. But instead Hara gave in (probably was offered her solo cf money/"acting careering" 2 minutes into the negotiations).

I mean I guess I could understand people not liking the Lee Hyori comparison but I'm so confused about this pushback. Nicole is great and DSP was horrible to her in the end (can't forget them dressing her like the backing dancer for one of the gayos).

Also, I swear I've read that she had been working with Eric Nam on music, can anyone confirm or deny this?

Her mom turned nto a momager when she realized her baby was slaving away for no money. Got some lawyers, did some suing, got shit done. But when it was all over Nic got her money and no more solo work (not even random variety shows) and DSP and fans treated her like crap because they knew her mom was the root of all the drama.

I just want to point out that Sunmi only made it because she had JYPE backing and great producers. Her fandom and the public dropped her years ago, she had to start all over, the only thing JYPE does well is debuts. No one else would be able to get away with not where shoes.

But I've loved every single one of her singles and Crazy I is sooooooooooooooo good (like.......Mikey did an AMAZING job with it, it's one of my favourite songs of 2014) that I don't even want her to get a different style of music because she owns all this 2009-style retro-y pop stuff, but I just want her to get more popular. She's pretty, gorgeous, friendly, she can sing, can even rap if they let her, can dance, she's only slightly weird in English, she's a good host/personality, and she's sexy as hell. She should be the next Hyori but she's just....not. And I want her to be huge without changing anything and I don't know how she'd be able to do that. She probably can't or she'd already be huge. Maybe it's luck, but if working with Duble Sidekick didn't launch her, I don't know what will.
It's a dilemma.

Her and Jiyoung were my favs and Nicole was always the most dynamic imo so I think she'll do well. Hyori can't sing but she's fly and I think Nicole could do something similar tbh.
