Seungsoo and Yerim really do match, don't they? They're actually super cute together but it looks like Yerim is one bad photoshoot away from elimination...
I have never cried at any elimination. When they interviewed Chulwoo & Seungsoo after the elimination, my heart broke into tiny pieces. I'm so into this, I'm pretty surprised.
I know. ;_; The two boys were heartbroken. I hope Chulwoo and Jonghun remain friends, they were precious together and they seemed to really like each other's company.
Seungsoo and Yerim plotline has me hot and cold- they do seem (physically) compatible but there's just something that bothers me when he talks about his ~crush~. YASSSSS on couple yoga and the male couple. The saxophone music behind it was a nice touch. Somebody is having way too much fun editing this. But then we get one of the ridiculous ANTM shoots. WHY. and WHAT KIND OF CONCEPT IS 'SADISM'??? And then most of the shoot somehow looks good?? HOW?? Well deserved 1st photo. Safe, but seriously, it's not circus. I'm sad to see who went but the photo spread after convinced me I liked them more as a character, not as a model. They all seemed genuinely sad to have seen him go, especially Chulwoo. Yes, very sad. He doesn't have his cuddle-buddy anymore... But I do feel Yerim could have been saved for the sake of plot but will be the next one to go.
From the looks of the next week's teaser, Yerim doesn't seem to get any better, so I do hope she'll go, even if that puts an unhappy-Seungsoo plot into motion. Chulwoo was distraught, I've never seen anyone that sad in an elimination before. He and Seungsoo both were just sobbing. I hope that Chulwoo and Jonghun remain friends.
Aside from Yerim, who I'm not fussed about--she's pretty, and she seems nice enough, but there's something off about her--and her modelling isn't great--, I really like everyone who's left, in a person way, rather than a model way. They all seem like they'd be nice to be friends with, and for that I'm sad about Jonghun--but he wasn't really Top Model standard.
As for models, if Seungsoo doesn't win I'll be very surprised, but it'll be interesting to see if blaming himself for Jonghun's elimination will have any effect on his modelling--also Yerim's imminent elimination might also effect him. Speaking of, I wonder if they'll keep in contact after the show's over. He probably would like a chance to ask her out properly.

I'm not expecting Minjung to win, even though I love her and I think she's a good model, and it's doubtful it'll be Yongsoo or Jungjin, even though they're both getting into it now. And Taeeun....he'll probably get snapped up by an agency anyway even if he doesn't get much further in the competition.)
they did jonghoon wrong with the photoshoot but he has been on the bottom for a while now. yerim should have left bc she was the weakest. but she'll probably leave next ep when she is with seungsoo (the heartbreak!!!!)
I didn't think jieun's picture was that good compared to chulwoo & gibbeum (wtf at the editor saying that they didn't have good synergy.... the theme was competition wth more do you want).

gippeum probably should have won this week, but i have a feeling the producers are trying to fight the idea that she's inevitably going to win every challenge/the whole thing (even though....... i think she should. if it isn't her, the only spoiler i could see would be seung-soo, because i'm sure they'd love to have a male winner for the first boys&girls season).
yeah that was the first time i saw him in a different light. he always seems to skate by for me even tho i acknowledge his skills as a model i have yet to be WOW'd by him even tho i like him a lot does that make sense?

Gibeum, Seungsoo, and Chulwoo are probably going to be the top 3. The next photoshoot looks interesting. Also the team-building competition looks hilarious.
yerim should've gone home, i love the whole seungsoo/yerim thing but thats all. and yeah they kind of did joonhong wrong, baby went through hell and back during that silts photoshoot. sadly got overshadowed but so did yerim.
seung or gibbeum better win and if they don't i'll settle for chulwoo (im so biased, lol)
I saw the coming up and it had Chulwoo crying and I was so confused like you can't eliminate him. I loved the the beginning parts with all the interactions.
seung soo's thirst for ye rim is so real i love it.
the stilts photoshoot was SO COOL! loved the concepts and the styling was totally on point. also, idgaf my yong soo is finally shining and i love him for it. one of my favorite faces from the jump it's NICE to see him building confidence in himself.
i love her the judges were like yeah we did SO MUCH BETTER than ATNM, lol. no doubt!

first of all i'm still not sold on yongsoo like this is too late in the competition to be still coming up and improving imho, he's trying but it's still super awkward. he was still only eighth this week and the judges didn't seem to fret over him like they used to so maybe the shine's wearing off. jungjin either excels or completely bombs, so it'll be interesting to see how long he lasts.
i really didn't care for minjung and jieun's photo half as much as everyone else seemed to? it was definitely not best photo wow. idk i felt like with the wild concept they could've done more than glare into the camera and awkwardly lift their legs. i'm happy that they're taking notice of jieun tho. i didn't think yerim's was that bad, she needs to close her mouth and work the ~sultry~ better but her photoshoot had more interest to me than the two girls'
i really like seungsoo and he takes super dynamic photos but while it's fab that he knows how to play to his strengths, i really want to see something else from him or i feel like it'll work against him in the long run. i feel like his inability to dial it back a bit with jonghoon kinda emphasised that for me? i think it's awesome how he's always able to spin a shoot into working for his style but i'd like to see a little more softness or diversity, idk. his comments about how he failed as a support were insightful, so maybe he'll try other avenues now.
ending had me tearing up ngl. i'd never noticed jonghoon and looking back at his photos none really stood out so i'm not too sad he left but i guess it's a reminder that just as they're getting used to each other properly is when the field really starts thinning (makes me excited for the last episode, don't they normally call all the contestants back for the runway?)

I think I might be the only one who doesn't feel like Seungsoo is that great of a model. Plus he's shown his douchiness and I just hope that gibeum beat all the boys.

I just want to say thank to the OP, i just binge-watched the cycle so far, i wasn't even aware that there is a korean version, and i love it!
Ngl even tho i wasn't super attached to the person who left, it was so sad! Esp with everyone's reactions, Chulwoo's and Seungsoo's hit me the hardest.
I think all in all, for me, Gibeum is the strongest model and i can see her winning this. I do like Yongsoo, there is something about him, but i wish he was more consistent. Male models wise, i think Chulwoo's my favourite. (i just wish they did something different with his hair)
For whatever reason i don't really like Seungsoo, but i can't put my finger on it.
