Concept: Twelve celebrities live together in close quarters as they share the cooking, cleaning and everyday chores around the house. Will they become close friends? Develop deeper relationships? Or find themselves fighting each other and making enemies?

As predicted Jackson had me cracking up non-stop. Even when he was by himself on camera he was so much fun to watch. Guk Joo is funny too, but I really hate the constant eating/fat jokes. Youngji seems really sweet. Also thank god for Youngji and Guk Joo, finally two young people who aren't completely lost in a kitchen!

Jackson is so lovable. I would love to have a little brother like him. It's also great how he clearly adores Gukjoo.

Gukjoo is funny, but I also hate the fat jokes. I feel like she is almost force to make fun of her body and eating to not get shit from it. And I know pointing out people's weight isn't considered to be that rude and abnormal in Korea, but still... It would be awesome if they had a talk about it.

Youngji is really likeable. She is still so fresh and genuine in everything she says and does.

I don't know if they shorten the episodes but it felt so fast paste instead of the usual drawn out "plots". (the old roommate would've spent 1/2 an episode on that restaurant dinner scene)

I love it! This is the first time that I'm really looking forward to the next episode. I didn't know Youngji before but she's a great addition to the cast and this show is a great introduction of her. Did anyone notice that Jackson and Youngji both brought basketball? I love her already.

My love for Jackson increased tenfold. A sweetheart who chided anyone that made fun of Gukjoo including his Joon. (How to be Gukjoo because Jackson is touching her constantly).

Seriously sooo much better (although next weeks episode looks like it might be overkill with the "hardships" route).

I like how all the rooms were divide DW/SH are already besties but their room need a little something to keep things interesting. It looks like any future lovelines will be more "natural".

It's a good episode. I don't know Jackson prior to watching, he's so funny! I hope he'd be closer to everyone.

I'm still hoping for Seho to be kicked out. But I'm relieved that there's no Nana-Seho in the first ep, it's a great start.. Nana should have a new love line, and I hope for Sunny-Dong Wook love line!! <3

Watching right now, almost finished. Minwoo's hairstlye looks SO good on him and Kanjoon's still a cutie. Sucks how they didn't leave the beds, they didn't have to change THAT part...lol. I feel like I might be uncomfortable with any possible weight jokes regarding Guk Joo. Also her hot pink heels were to DIE for.

Jackson is so cute. The way he clings to Guk Joo...it's really sweet. I totally love Joon. Without even going to Google it, I can tell he's a Cali boy. It's also nice how he's pretty much the older version of Jackson...lol, and he looks out for him.

Kangjoon was so sweet to Youngji...she's adorable by the way. Also LOL the way Kangjoon and Jackson met.

This makes me sad because I would have lived for all the Bom and Jackson moments. But the new cast looks promising. Though, honestly it wasn't the fault of the cast that I lost interest.

This is my first time watching Roomate because i am interested about the elder-but-childish of GOD, Joonhyung and the new Kara member Youngji. It was worth it =DD I also like the fact that he acts as a big brother to Jackson. Given Jackson's background maybe there will be some different in cultures and viewers may seen him as rude (like Henry who always have that treatment =_=) but Joon somehow helps him and given that he is one of the oldest he skillfully smash out any awkwardness. So i hope viewers wont have any funny ideas.

Jackson is the cutest cutie, he and Joon Hyung seem like a killer combo right off the bat.

I was very worried about Guk Joo's participation since her entire shtick (from the shows I've seen her on before) seems to always revolve aroud her body/eating habits,which is so not funny to me, and in this ep that was just reinforced. I really hope this can change going forward (Jackson, you can be a big help here, sweetie, I know you can) but I'm not optimistic considering how her new celebrity is basically built upon body-shaming, and she has seemingly very few options but to be a participant in that. :(

Otherwise it was pretty good, definitely better than the first ep of season 1

I really can't stand the body/eating habit jokes :(. It must be hard for her (and all the plus size gag women) to hear all that constantly. I'm just waiting for Jackson to pull the "confused foreigner" act, call everyone out on it, and ask why they keep saying such cruel things about her.

Oh yay! I watched this without the subs and thought it was funny so I'm sure it'll be hilarious when I actually understand all of it!

I'm really liking the new cast and the way they interact with each other (including the old Roommates). I already knew I'd like Jackson (so touchy-feely), Joon Hyung, and Guk Joo, but Young Ji surprised me! She's kind of adorable. Her laugh is great, and as gross as the octopus hacking was, it was also kind of...endearing.

I'm expecting great things for the rest of the season, though I hope they're not still going with the people with problems premise they announced a while back. I just want to see this group be cute and do fun things together!

(Also, Min Woo looks SOOOO good with his hair like that!)

this episode was so great! i loved the new cast and of course jackson didnt disappoint with his craziness. i laughed so hard whenever he did his introduction and constantly did his flips. yougji was so cute! her silent laughs were adorable and i already started liking her during her mamma mia promotions so i hope she gets more love and fans being on the show. im really excited to see how her relationship will be with jackson. just seeing that little scene of him showing her how to do some little flips and gymnastics was really cute, especially when she fell on her butt. hahaha

Youngji is ADORABLE. This is my first time watching her on a show and not a music performance. I loved her hacking away at that octopus and her huge laugh. That preview of her and Jackson tumbling around in the yard is cute, yay that the two youngest bond.

I've liked Jackson in the shows I've seen him in. He seems to cling to people quickly, by the time night rolled around he was already more attached to Joon Hyung and Gook Joo.

LOL Sunny is funny. "ooooooh I was interrupting something, I came home too early" .... while Kang Joon and Youngji are talking about the dog poop.

YASSSS to this new season (so far)! the show already has a fresh feel to it. i am glad that some of the old members stayed (lee dong wook!) and it seems like they are mixing well with the new members.

- min woo, yes to that hair! he looks so grown and sexy...and i am here for it.
- kang joon's eyes continue to slay me.
- nana! she looks flawless.
- lee dong wook is back! he's so fine. i just can't
- seho is still here. please don't make nana uncomfortable.
- i love guk ju. she is everythang. she's my fave. yass! also, i agree with ya'll - i need these body shaming / fat shaming comments to stop. she's funny! her fatness doesn't make her funny. the fat jokes are annoying and it needs to stop! also, guk ju, give me dance lessons please! i just watched her dancing red by hyuna and she slayed. also, i can't wait to see how guk ju interacts with the other girls! she's like a big sister to them.
- really excited to see sunny! she seems down to earth. i'm getting more into gg these days, so i still don't know much about the members in depth. but she seems funny and cool and i can't wait to see her interactions with the rest of the cast and with nana. i feel like they would get along.
- i've never seen bae jong ok act, so i will have to watch her dramas, but she seems like she will be cool, insightful and laid back. i can't wait to see her let loose but also be there for those endearing moments!
- joon hyung is just...like...idk how to explain it. he's funny but awkward but a little overboard but funny but sweet but 4d but idk. i can't wait for the JYP brother moments and just moments with everyone really...
- Otani is fine. yep he's fine...that's the first thing i noticed about him. just...ugh. anyways, idk exactly how he will fit in, but it seems like he will be kind of aloof at times, but someone who really cares for the other members. i feel that he might be 4d as well, but hiding it...idk...i can't wait to learn more about him. i need to watch his dramas. he's just fine. okay...that's it.
- Young Ji is going to be great. i didn't pay attention to kara project...i haven't even listened to their new song yet...but she just seems like a breath of fresh air. i hope there will be more young ji and kang joon moments!
- so i decided to watch this for jackson b/c 1) i didn't think any of the old cast members were coming back and 2) it's jackson. there really is no other explanation needed. but jackson...like omg i love it. he's just so cute and extra and adorable and i ship him and guk ju just because. like his attachment to her is the cutest and it doesn't seem forced. and i feel that this show will be good for him. i always think that jackson is the type that is fun and lively and crazy, but he gets serious and i feel that he goes through things. (i feel that way about jb too, tbh. that's why i like it when they interact together. but that's a different story) so i think it will be nice for him to be around new people, especially since he's still a rookie, and get loved on a bit and just grow. plus for some reason it seems like idk...his confidence has went down from the beginning. idk if something happened or what, but i just think that this will be good for him. i can't wait to see how he is with kang joon. i also hope that min woo & him can become close because min woo seems to be like that as well.

i didn't plan on writing this much, but i am really stoked for the new season! sbs...don't mess this up. you have a good thing here. work with it, not against it.

This season is even better than I thought it would be, and it seems that it's also liked in Korea (jackson topped trends on naver and roommate trended too)

Youngji is adorable and it's cute how she wasn't afraid of the octopus when Sunny was freaking out.

I haven't watched 1st season but Nana seems to be a silent type? or maybe she was quiet because new roommates joined and she wanted to be polite? anyway i thought she was louder.

Jackson is a sweetheart. His affection towards Guk joo ;;;; that guy is just full of love and wants to share it with everyone </3 All songs they played during Jackson moments made me laugh - "You are not alone" when he was washing the dishes and "Power of love" when he saw Kangjoon /dead I didn't like the comments about Guk Joo's weight, so rude ): but it's korean show so.. Joon is like a bigger version of Jackson and he's louder than Jackson, I love it! (i thought no one could be louder than Jackson) and Sunny is my SNSD bias so I obviously love her. So far i love everything about this show and I can't wait to watch 2nd ep. I'm just worried that Jackson won't be on the show often because of his tour in Japan in October/November.

About Nana, i didn't really know her before Roommate so i'm not that knowledgeable, but i feel like she was a bit more more energetic/lively.
When s1 started she definitely felt like that, but she received some criticism and ever since she feels a bit subdued i guess?
Idk, i grew to really love her and i'm hoping she doesn't feel pressured.

I also hope they don't go the Chanyeol/Dong Woo route with Jackson, barely being at the house, cause i'm nhft!

I enjoyed s1 (somewhat) but i can totally see why more people liked this better!

First surprise for me was how much i enjoyed the combination of s1 roommates with the new people.
At first i was like just start over with a new cast (even tho i would miss most of them) otherwise it's gonna be awkward, but i loved it.
Idk Nana cooking, and Seho+Min Woo picking the new people up felt cute. Talking about that, my most favourite OTP, Nana/cooking is back <3

I knew Jackson would deliver, and his insistence to take off his socks to do his backflips for everyone was hilarious!

Gok Joo and her thirst when she was taking pics of Ryohei was the best! Lol at the whole exchange with Sunny, "it's ok we're family now!", "we're not family yet!!", bless them!

Young Ji seems great and her soundless laugh is everything! Really want to see more of her.
Generally speaking i liked all the new people, i'm gonna need Ryohei to get a bit more comfortable cause he is fiiine otherwise shallow, and i'm just glad Nana is staying, cause i need her on my screen on a weekly basis.

Damn this is turning in an essay but i have to mention it, i thought Kang Joon's little moment on the phone with Dong Wook, telling him it's awkward was so cute. It reminded me of the beginning of s1 when Kang Joon himself was a tad awkward with everyone and the iconic now scene with him and Dong Wook picking up a mobile phone!
