The outfits make the vid not even giffable. ;_; The song's still a clunky, embarrassing mess, but at least I like the choreo. Hopefully their next song will actually be hiphop.
ETA: I like Bambam's skirt. I hope he gets to wear them more often and starts a trend.
The designer in me cringed at the blatantness of their outfits and I'm used to Johnny's outfits. Something needs to change in the choreography in the beginning, when Mark and Jinyoung are holding on to dear life to support Yugyeom.
On a positive note, I like the sets and the colours. I love Youngjae's part and his dancing.
i feel like crying. got7 sold 100K of their albums and this is the best jype could give them? like really? they should just let jinyoung do the choreo i'll pretend this mv doesn't exist
sometimes i have to balk at some of the decisions jype makes for them. like they ostensibly want got7 to be big but some of the things they choose to do don't align with that like this jpn debut song
Japanese fans will buy anything as long as you play true marketing game right. Throw in some handshakes or events that require you to purchase a copy and this single is sold. Everything is more expensive there so the huge downgrade in mv quality isn't surprising. I can't think of anyone whose JP MVs are better than their Korean ones.
The whole thing was so underwhelming in so many ways. It was so unimpressive that I can't be bothered to recall what the hell it sounded like. How sad.
The second listen of this song doesnt sound so bad, but I'm still not feeling it. Why couldnt they do Girls3 or A in Japanese or a song they never promoted. smh. plus that kamehameha move is cringe worthy.
The chorus actually sounds pretty nice, like it should be a fun, upbeat dance song -- but the choreo makes it sooo hammy that I can't take it seriously And that BTS-esque members holding up other members thing doesn't work for them esp considering Yugyeom's a big chicken baby
