Initially set to be making a comeback with the release of their first full-length album, Crayon Pop’s return has been postponed. Fear not, however, as the members will be returning with a sub-unit debut instead!
On September 23rd, Chrome Entertainment confirmed that members from the group will be forming a sub-unit and will embark on promotional activities next month. The sub-unit is expected to show a different side of the girls and will portray a unique charm for the members.
The agency further explained the delay in the group’s first full-length album release, which was originally due to come out next month.
According to Chrome Entertainment, “Since it’s the first album, we are committed in working and improving the quality of the songs, including their title track.” After considering several factors such as their concept, album preparation and modifications overall, they have decided that it was necessary to postpone the album release.
Meanwhile, Crayon Pop will be heading to Japan on October 4th for the “2014 First Chrome Family in Japan Concert” and have released a promotional video for their upcoming concert.

Date: 2014-09-23 03:33 pm (UTC)I don't understand why Chrome decided to make two really generic (in appearance/music) groups after Crayon Pop; even before Bar Bar Bar, the reason Crayon Pop had that really hardcore fandom was *because* they were doing something different, and K-Much/Bob Girls are going to need some kind of way to distinguish them from all the other rookies. (Not slamming their talent, just the presentation/song choices the company is making.)
Zan Zan needs an OST or something.
