Ailee has the edge when it comes to vocals (the best technique of any female vocalist out their rn tbh) but Hyorin wins in terms of dancing and performing, her stage aura is overall a lot stronger.
Either way people need to stop pitting them against each other, they're friends.

It sounds like...like it is going to be loud. The Gospel influence is cute. I'm putting money on the fact that this is going to be typical of Ailee, and that her company needs to start investing in one of the more known producers.They also need to stop trying to get her to dance. Let her do a cute two step on stage and that be as far as she goes.

The funny thing is I'm pretty sure she has had ballet training from a young age. But the choreo they give her, she's never quite able to pull off without it looking stiff

She could probably pull out ballet, but that doesn't mean she is a flexible/diverse dancer (or even a good one). Like the stuff she does is never really hard, and yet her body rolls look so...awkward.
Maybe they could do like JYPE does with Sunmi and give her more alternative styles to handle.
Overall she doesn't really need choreo, as evident that she rarely does anything complex. She has great energy, and her biggest selling point is her singing.
