Star Empire releases official statement + netizens dig up old tweet made by Siwan

Recently at the center of controversy due to criticisms made by ZE:A’s Jun Young, Star Empire released official statement on the issue.

Through the press release released on September 22, Star Empire stated, “First of all, we would like to apologize to all the fans who love Moon Jun Young and ZE:A, for causing you to worry.”

The statement read, “Last night (September 21), Moon Jun Young and CEO Shin Joo Hak shared their sincere thoughts and resolved their misunderstandings. Through the conversation with Moon Jun Young, which continued all night long, we were able to solve all conflicts with Moon Jun Young.”

It continued, “We should have communicated with each other earlier on, but as we worked together for a long time, our lackadaisical attitude created more misunderstandings. We will show you ourselves working well with each other in the future, through this opportunity.”

Star Empire concluded, “We would like to apologize once more to all those who love ZE:A and Star Empire for causing you to worry and be anxious.”

The latest news to sweep K-Pop has been ZE:A’s leader, Lee Hoo (Junyoung) unleashing a torrent of tweets on CEO Shin Joohak.

Now, netizens have uncovered a past tweet by ZE:A member Siwan conceding the company after a previously cancelled concert.

In the tweet, Siwan is heard criticizing his agency and holding back words. Netizens and fans have begun speculating that Siwan nearly broke the story when their concert was cancelled, but decided to hold it in.

No matter what kind of trouble happens with our label, I believe I have the responsibility to make sure [fans] don’t know. I thought about a lot of things before we stood on stage, but I decided to put it all away. It’s okay if we go through all kinds of things from [Star Empire], but I don’t think you should go through it. I’m cowardly and once again I’m keeping the words I’ve been stored up to myself.
