Lee Joon Gi shared his thoughts on dating and marriage.

On September 15, Lee Joon Gi met with reporters in a restaurant in Gangnam-gu and answered questions about dating and marriage.

Born in 1982, Lee Joon Gi is 32 this year. The actor revealed that he has been receiving questions about marriage recently.

Lee Joon Gi said, “I’m a man too so why wouldn’t I have any desire for it. But the only way for me to deal with my desire now is through acting,” and added, “Of course I want to date. I’ve been asking people around me to introduce a good person for me. I’m nearing the age to get married so I should date for awhile before I get married.”

Although he says this, many people suspect that he is dating someone secretly. About this, Lee Joon Gi said, “I really don’t have a girlfriend. Even the staff members say, ‘Don’t lie. Why are you lying even to us?’ but after a month or two, they really believe me. They even feel bad for me later on.”

Lee Joon Gi then revealed, “I want to work on projects non-stop. Even the gap period between Two Weeks and Joseon Shooter was too long for me. I would like to spend my free time on choosing the next project. I’m also planning to participate in different promotions meeting with the fans in Korea and overseas. I don’t want to rest. I would feel happy if I’m lucky enough to date in between my schedules.”

I'm so sick of this "settling down, getting married and have kids" before X age. People should do those things if/when they feel prepared to do it.

If you want to see your son/daughter go to collage and live their life with their own family and healthy enough to hold your future grandchildren/great grandchildren, his age now is the perfect time for that. Plus, for women, the time where less pregnancy complication is before the age of 34y/o (what doctor will advise) so it is understandable why people feel pressure to do so before that age.

Of course like you said, there no right time for marriage but some people do consider that factors and I dont blame them for that..

But not everyone is interested in this kind of life. I was mostly talking about how the society kinda obligates people to do the same and they have to understand that not everyone is meant for the typical married with children life. If you don't feel prepared to that life you don't have to do it only because it's what society wants. It sounded like he felt pressured to get married only because he was in the age where most of people are married and not because he really wanted.

He is one of the few actors who likes to work non-stop. I love that about him so I dont have to wait tooo long for his next projects. Plus, aside from some questionable project he took over the years (ie; Hero), he always act in quality productions even though the ratings werent very favorable sometimes. I hope he never stopped acting in action projects since seeing him in fighting scenes are one of the things I love the most about him.

he's not an amazing actor but I enjoy most of his work since I saw The King and The Clown.
And I love his public personality <3.
