The Beijing show of singer Kim Hyun Joong‘s world tour has been canceled.

On September 12, his agency Key East announced through the singer’s official homepage:

Hello.

This is Key East.

We have no choice but to inform that the Beijing concert, scheduled for September 19, has been unilaterally canceled by local concert promoters in China.

In a situation where our company and Kim Hyun Joong have finished all preparations for the promised meeting with the local fans, we want to express our regret over this incident. We are currently planning to take counteraction.

We offer our deepest apologies to all fans affected by this.

Currently, the ticket reservation page has been updated with an official announcement from the concert promoters, and the event has been officially canceled. Fans will be able to request a refund for their tickets, and you may find more information about it here.

yeah cancel the rest of his career, too, when you're on that.

So that's how his career ends...

I actually liked him before this true side of him is revealed. We (both guys and girls) cannot forgive any men who hit their women. Or the other way around, actually.

Exactly! I was just talking about this with a friend. Women can't go around hitting men either and then saying "Well whatcha gonna do about it? You can't hit a woman!".

It's very likely it was canceled because of poor ticket sales so the sponsors wouldn't have earned enough of their money back if they really went along with the show. But at least that proves people weren't interested in buying tickets anymore after the scandal broke. Some delusional stans tried to bulk-buy tickets so the show wouldn't get canceled but it looks like that didn't work out in the end...

I'm not a person who wishes bad towards anyone regardless of what they've done, but this seems like a step in the right direction for bringing justice. He's gonna face the consequences of his actions.

Good on the Beijing concert promoters.

KeyEast is freakin' shameless, the company and KHJ are disgusting.

So it had to take the LOCAL concert promoters to cancel that shit instead of Key East? Unbelievable.

Good ridance.
But I'm still surprised at how his company is supporting him. It shouldn't be the local company's role to cancel his activities, for god's sake.
(and let's not re-open the police subject. How he can still carry on promotions around the world freely is shameful)
