It was inevitable that the first meeting would be awkward, but that didn't make it easier to watch. Thankfully, Bobby was there. It didn't really feel like much happened in this episode, but it's nice to see these boys in front of the camera again. Looking forward to next week, when the show ramps up.

More of Parris' choreography, please and thanks. Love her work. I really hope this is how YG deals with choreography from now on by involving the choreographer from the start.

I know Team B fans will hate me for this, but the original Team B vocalists really aren't that good, and are showing no personality. I'm confused how people even got attached to them in the first place. I watched all of WIN, but couldn't have named all the members of Team B at the end, because they weren't memorable. I just hope these new trainees are better singers/are more entertaining as individuals.

I disagree with everyone that BI looked sad/miserable when Papa YG announced the new trainees. I think he looked PISSED. He did a pretty good job of keeping a neutral face, but if I had to guess, on the inside it was a storm of frustrated swearing, and I don't blame him.

Bobby remains a flawless angel.

I think you don't know all their names from WIN because they didn't have screen time...on the contrary A Team did have individual screen time (and team conflict to make you remember)

I don't see anything wrong with their vocals but that's all up to opinion...I'm always curious as to what standard people are comparing them to because...I mean...look at the rest of kpop

*edit* Also I think everyone agrees Hanbin was pissed...and oh so very awkward trying to not let it show...Jinhwan didn't even attempt to cover it up

It was rumored, but apparently the girl who posted the info online was a rabid OT6 fan. People looked through her post history and figured out that she was making shit up to ~protect her oppas~ or something like that. She ended up getting banned and the posts were removed, but not before the rumor spread through the net.

There have been a shit ton of "unearthed facts" flying around about Jinhyeong in general tho (that he's from Australia, that he's been with YG since 2012, that he's trained in musicals, etc etc etc) that currently look like they could be completely wrong tho, so at this point, I'm just gonna ignore everything I've heard haha.

It was so refreshing to see people (rookie idols) be visibly unhappy with decisions their superior made.
Hanbin was ready to cut someone.

It was interesting to see bobby be nice and sweet and reach out. And the others who definitely aren't feeling the two new guys but know exactly what those guys are feeling because they've been in the same position.

Ugh YG i hate your fave and your voice get out! Stop putting the boys through this.

It was not fun to see them say the believe their teamwork is one of their strengths and then to have this show test exactly that? :(

So young yet through so much, and having to deal with it all on public tv, and they haven't even debuted yet. Because of win, both groups probably have antis already.
I guess that's the price to pay, other idols debut with no antis, but with absolutely no fanbase either. What a cruel world

Quite impressed with Yunhyeong's vocals. He really improved. To me, he is above Donghyuk and Jinhwan. I doubt anybody fr OT6 is gonna be dropped, but if one was, I'd prefer Junhoe and Yunhyeong to stay.

Watching this show is gonna be like ... condensing all my feelings being a fan of Johnny's Jrs. over the past couple years into the span of one program.

Entirely too much of YG in the program. Bobby is so lovable. I feel bad for B.I., he definitely has it the hardest, being the leader.

In terms of pure entertainment factor, I actually really like how B.I and Junhoe reacted to the situation.

I've seen quite a few people criticize B.I for being too cold and unwelcoming (aka not being Bobby) but as a leader, he set the right precedent for the trainees. B.I made it clear that he expects the trainees to commit to music and that he's not there to hold their hand. The team is willing to help them if they ask for it, but it's the newbies' responsibility to pull their own weight. This "no bullshit" side of B.I's been hinted at before but it's one of the first times we've really seen it come out... it'll be interesting to see develop.

As for Junhoe... lul. Now that SMTM3 is over, I have high hopes that he'll take Olltii's place in providing me with my weekly dose of sass and side eye.

edit: another fun fact! Anyone notice that the theme song for Lindsay Lohan's "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" was playing in the background the moment that YG appeared to introduce the show? lololol. (Pt 1, 1:10-1:30)

i kinda regret i didn't watch Win so i made the mistake to watch Mix & Match yesterday (now i'm screwd orz).
after all, good thing i didn't watch Win. that'd have been impossible for me to go through that kind of survival reality show twice. one time is going to be hard enough i swear. (it's ridiculous how i was stressed out wtching it as if i was one of them).

i've always loved bobby (without even watching poperly win yes) but i have a soft spot for the 3 of team b who were not selected as fixed member of ikon. and since they didn' get the chance to have much screen time in win, i guess that now is their chance. i'm wishing them the best. you go boys, show them.
and i do feel bad and sorry for the new trainees, but man, team b worked fine as 6. i guess it wouldn't hurt them to have another strong and solid vocalist like junhoe but... still... idk... :/

anyway. i'm here for ot6/team b. i kinda doubt Chanwoo will be the 7th member. Ikon need a solid vocalist. not an actor/dancer/sub-vocalist/twin-bro-of-yunhyeong.

(my fingers and and toes crossed that all team b will make to the end. i keep telling myself that YG wouldn't dare to be that cruel and do something like split the 6 of them... but then i realized that... yeah he could ??)

I'm really curious to see what happens. The new song is really good and it seems like the vocal line has really improved. Not sure how I feel about the new trainees yet. One of them is cute, I guess. Junhwe needs to be a fixed member too tho. #justiceforJunhwe

I have alot of mixed feelings. On one hand I want Team B to be the best group they possibly can, but on the other hand Yunhyeong and Donghyuk have worked just as hard as everyone else and don't deserve to be discarded. Ugh.

One thing I will say is that if the OT6 goes then Hanbin is not gonna forgive YG. Something YG never counted on with Winner and iKon is the bond all the kids share with each other. It's because Hanbin, Bobby, Minho and Yoon are not the only look at me type of leaders, they're the types who help and make sure the team is working at its best, rather than trying to shine on their own. And so all these games he's playing isn't helping his case. I do hope they make it through I guess. Good luck making this a competition YG. not gonna happen. Also Bobby remains a sweetheart. I do love how all these kids can look at things objectively.

Ehhhh I can't really see Hanbin holding a grudge. Although I don't wanna call him weak or obedient, he seems more of the type who will suffer through and try to make the best of whatever ultimatum his superiors give him rather than rebel. Rather than blame YG, he'd probs feel responsible because he wasn't a strong enough leader to keep them together and blame himself for not training the team well enough.

i love how throughout the episode we get commentary from others like big bang and epik high stating how great team b is and how much potential they have, only for yg to come in at the very end to change that all up ^_________^

I don't care what anybody says Team B minus Bobby were rude as hell to those kids and it was immature. No offense to them but they lost and they knew that YG was either gonna add new members or disband them. It was pretty much a guarantee and those two new kids did not ask to suddenly be thrown into their group so instead of acting like a bunch of asses they should have swallowed their pride and accepted it for what it was. They have a long way to go and I sincerely hope that YG chewed them out for their rudeass behavior.

edit: in fact they probably did considering YG added another member in the next episode

I'm not really sure, I think they were just really shocked tbh. I really think they thought they were in the clear & were just going to debut because apparently the show was supposed to be teamBTV in the beginning & because they already performed at a YG family concert & did other events that they were like, WTF, whyyyyyy! Yes, they were a bit standoffish - & such, but it's a tough situation all around. Hopefully in the next episode they will all learn to click.


& yes, I heard there was a third trainee as well, more drama ohno!
