This sounds 'Western alternative pop' to me (whatever that means, scandinavia-australia maybe?) and as a tune i like it But as it is, it puts violence against women on the screen ONCE AGAIN and i haven't listened to the lyrics but whatever i can imagine they'd be saying it wouldn't excuse including that footage that was being displayed here.
But... it's telling a story. This video isn't solely about the woman. It's also about the man's mental illness. There's some suicidal imagery towards the end. It's also not telling people to go out and stalk and murder women. Do you ever watch movies or television shows with scenes like this? They're typically part of a narrative.
This is the first time I've heard him, pressed play out of curiosity but wow his voice is really nice. If TOP could sing well, I imagine he'd sound something like this.

This was the first John Park song I've ever heard. I like it and I don't really mind what's going on in the video. But I've always wonder, has there been any girl group that has done a concept similar? Like Vanessa Carlton(Yeah I went totally old school with that one) Pretty Baby? Or that Pink song that I can't remember, but she kidnapped a guy abused him and didn't want to let him go...
The song lyrics are the reverse, but Secret's Song Jieun's solo song, Going Crazy, had a mv where the woman (Min Hyorin) kidnaps her (ex?) boyfriend (B.A.P's Himchan), sticks him in the trunk, drives into the middle of nowhere, and sets the car on fire
Late to the party omg but i really love it, his voice his voice his voice I cry it's so great. The mvis really creepy tho almost disturbing. But he looks great, sound amazing and I hope he's doing well on the charts all the awards for miguk church oppar *-*
I love the song but there is a HUGE disconnect between the lyrics and the music video for me. Like the lyrics are borderline creepy but nothing that warrants dragging a lifeless girl's body across a tiled floor?? like wtf?? the narrative of the song and mv are not similar to me at all. or maybe my tolerance for violence against women in media is just hitting a new low :/
