Ladies' Code Kwon Ri Sae passes away

Kwon Ri Sae has passed away.

On Sept. 7th Ladies' Code's agency Polaris Entertainment released an official statement that Kwon Ri Sae has passed away on September 7th 10:10AM KST at the age of 23.

The agency stated that after the accident on the 3rd, Rise, who had received a traumatic brain injury, was transported to a hospital and received all surgeries and treatmeants possible, but has unforunately passed. Her parents who flew in from Japan as well as the agency staff kept by her side until her last moment.

The location of her funeral ceremony has not yet been determined.

The agency added, "We are extremely grievous and sorry to announce another tragedy after the passing of Go Eunbi."

This is so god damn heartbreaking :(
I never really followed Ladies Code, so Eunbi's death (though horrifying) didn't affect me nearly as much as Risae's.
I first saw her on Birth of a Great Star and saw how hard she worked towards becoming a singer. And I was so happy for her when she finally debuted and reached her goal.

This hasn't sunk in yet, and I don't know if I really it want to.


RIP Risae. In my mind, it will forever be 2010, back when you were the beautiful high school girl who auditioned after finishing her university exams. The girl who was so happy to get a shot at her dreams.

same with me. i remember risae on that audition show and i am extremely torn about this. i didn't know eunbi at all, but it is still heart wrenching. damn, i can't believe this at all. they're both in a better place now and hope their families can be strong. :(
