Sojung Recovering After Successful Surgery, No Changes in RiSe’s Condition!

Ladies’ Code member Sojung is recovering well after a successful surgery for her injuries from the tragic car crash of September 3.

Sojung received surgery on September 5 for the facial fractures she sustained from the accident. A representative from her hospital said reported that she was recovering quickly and said, “The surgery ended well. She is currently in the recovery room.”

Sadly, as Sojung recovers from her accident she will be notified by her family and her agency, Polaris Entertainment, that fellow member EunB passed away during the accident. EunB’s funeral ended on September 5. Ashley and Zuny, who were still recovering from their less severe injuries, were seen at the funeral, mourning for their friend.

Polaris Entertainment also gave an update on RiSe’s condition, telling reporters that she was still unconscious and that there have been no great changes in her condition.

I'm really glad that Sojung is recovering well, I hope she's strong enough for the news of Eunbi's death, stay strong Sojung. Rise needs to continue fighting for her life. I hope she gains consciousness in the upcoming days.

She asked why everyone was wearing black and it seems like she got some infos via her phone.

I know it's bittersweet but I'm almost glad she figured it out on her own - means she's still aware of and successfully processing her surroundings, etc, and it's good news for her recovery.
I hope being together as three gets them (hopefully rise too, as four) through this.

Exactly a month before Ladies' Code's accident my best friend was in a jarringly similar accident. Unfortunately two of his sisters passed away and his 4 year old niece had to have brain surgery. She was unconscious for three days and even now she can't move but can now open one of her eyes. However doctors are hopeful that with therapy she'll be able to recover.

I'm so glad that Sojung is on her way to recovery and I'm keeping faith that Rise will pull through.

Its surreal to imagine Rise in this situation. My brain cant process this. Sojung and Rise are my favorites ;; ive been worried to bits about them, i cant even sleep ;; I still remember her on Dream Team, the swimming episode, with James from Royal Pirates and my heart just hurts, she was so bright and fun and healthy. Life isn't fair..
I hope she pulls through, Ive been praying and hoping she will recover.

echoing the sentiments here- this situation all remains soo unreal to me. EunB was my fav and i've been following LC since debut. Whenever I log onto twitter, I momentarily worry that i'll see 'RIP RiSe trending' :(

There's a video of Ashley and Zuny during the funeral procession and y'all.......

they could barely walk - each had a person on each side helping them - and someone had to keep wiping away Ashley's tears. I just.....I can't believe this is happening.

I really hope Rise gets better soon because all of her complications from the beginning make me worried. I'm just glad, however, that Sojung will be ok and that Zuny & Ashley (as well as hers & EunB's parents) can be with her. I hope they know how much their fans & Kpop is mourning this. Hell, this was on E! news's website online and everything.

This is so unfair to them and I just want things to get better.

I saw that. I just don't know what I would do if one of my best friends died. I don't think I'd be able to walk either. Plus all the stress they must have been under prior, being in the pop industry? I imagine you're always stretched kind of thin, and so much worse off when tragedy strikes for that reason. :(

These things make us wish we could turn back time. I am feeling the same as everyone else here. This whole situation broke my heart. It is honestly really hard to listen to K-pop or watch the music shows knowing these girls are going through this and had their worlds shattered, so I haven't done either.

I've taken some comfort in just how many people have express condolences and support for them. It seems to be affecting the entire kpop world and seeing things like them ask for prayers for LC or even little things like the Black Ribbons while they perform as a tribute to EunB really gets me.
