this debut was so perfect. i remember infinite dropped this song when NOBODY was working with that sound so it made me pay way more attention to them.

the choreography for this song was so sick----still my favorite they've ever done.

oo that gif. i was lucky enough to see a couple of their debut stages for this song. it was my first impression of live k-pop performances and nothing has ever come close to topping it. they stared straight ahead and danced so perfectly! it was amazing and creepy

Nope Kim Eana, Lee Minsoo and Jinu from the band rollercoaster (aka hitchhiker) wrote abracadabra. Hitchhiker was also the producer of the song.
Hitchhiker was basically nabbed by SM after abracadabra and come back again which is why he only writes for SM artists these days. Unfortunately the only songs he's written that have been chosen as title tracks by SM have been A-Cha and Pinocchio

I know!! I was wondering if it was just me. Neither the French nor the Korean matches the English that's shown in the subtitles.

And... I mean, I'm no expert on Korean pop culture, but I didn't think Hitchhiker was as well-known as he's shown to be in the video. The name all over billboards, that whole hazmat suit thing... just... what? What is going on?!

I thought it was obvious that this was a comedy docudrama but going by the comments on the video (and here) I guess not. I did not associate it to be about the producer Hitchhiker, but rather a fictional DJ Hitchhiker that is possibly using music as a way to perform mind-control or brainwashing on the world's population... a typical movie plot. I could be wrong, but it seems pretty clear to me that it's not about the kpop producer Hitchhiker. I mean, he has never even worn a suit like that or stylized his name that way, to my knowledge.
