nn: One celebrity's tweet who isn't pleased with Ladies Code at #1

Taewoon: Leave sympathy as sympathy... Something nonsensical is happening because people are so caught up in their emotions. Is this really what's best for them... It makes me angry... Interest is all the more beautiful when it's given when they exist... Why now;;.. Please.. just let her go peacefully."

After deleting the tweet: "They say the one with his mouth shut at least hits average. Let's keep it shut."

"As a peer, I apologize for the wrong way in which I expressed my upset feelings. I sincerely pray for her speedy recovery. Lastly, may she rest in peace..."

1. [+226, -8] It's because you have a mentality like that that you're not getting anywhere. Who does he think he is to say something like that? Block B's Jaehyo even asked his fans to stream the song to help Ladies Code win #1, what is Taewoon doing? ㅋㅋㅋㅋ It was Eunbi's wish;

2. [+220, -20] What he said isn't right. You can't control who gets interest in the music industry, who knew that this would happen to Ladies Code? What's so wrong with helping her achieve a dream she had while living? Would he rather that people act as if nothing happened and quietly continue living life? There's always a kid who thinks like him.

3. [+162, -45] He's not wrong but he should've written that in a personal diary. People are choosing to mourn in different ways and there's no reason for him to interpret it so negatively. I don't get why he's putting that on SNS;

Article: 'Ladies Code Eunbi' Zico hyung Woo Taewoon controversy over Twitter post "Leave sympathy as sympathy"

Source: TV Daily via Nate

1. [+580, -58] His dongseng jokes about flooding Thailand while the hyung ridicules a death caused by an accident. Amazing.

2. [+462, -24] Does he think that what he's doing is good for them? He acts so textbook.

3. [+452, -23] Zico's hyung is going around like this.. ㅡㅡ He's living in his own world ㅋ Why didn't people care about her when she was life? It's not like people can determine the market and decide who gets interest and who doesn't. Why is he so upset with people trying to help her achieve a dream she had before she died? He thinks he's so special and different just because his opinion differs from the majority. And of course he refuses to apologize...

4. [+62, -50] I wouldn't say he's wrong... Especially since he's seeing people sympathize only after she's died when they normally would've either not cared about her or left hateful comments.. Seems like a personal view.

5. [+52, -8] This is why you never went anywhere other than being known as Zico's hyung. Who even cares whether you're SPEED's Taewoon?

I get what he's trying to say but he really should have worded this better/said it with more sensitivity.

He should have looked to his members on how to write a thoughtful message, Sejoon and Yuhwan's made me really emotional :(

Yeah, I think he wrote this when he wasn't thinking clearly. Besides I'm sure he isn't the only one to think this. Not saying it's right, but not going to hang him for it or anything.

I'm not gonna crap on him, because he has the right to state is opinion, but it's kind of too soon for all that. I kind of understand what he means, but if this was her last wish and fans wanted to do this last thing for her then there shouldn't be any reason to not do it.

Emotions are high right now, so people are gonna say dumb shit with out realizing it. But like one of the commenter said, things like this happen. I mean look what happen Michael Jackson had passes away. All of his albums went to number one on the charts.

I agree. He's got a right to his opinion and honestly, others are probably thinking it but, it is too soon for this to be said. I honestly just hope he keeps his mouth shut for a bit so that he doesn't upset more people. I wouldn't completely throw the douche tag at him yet though.

I understand what he's trying to say but holy damn you should have the self-awareness to know this is the kind of thing you don't tell the world you're thinking. There's no way to word this right

this is pretty much my feelings on this. it's sad that eunbi didn't have her wish for a #1 song realised while she was alive and able to be aware of it and enjoy it, but tweeting that was a bad idea bruh. and calling it nonsensical is just plain rude, like fuck you for that.

Mte. I feel like this is pretty common when singers or actors die. People always go back to revisit their works and they always get a surge in popularity that they might not have had while they were alive/at the time of their death.

I disagree with him. I don't think the public trying to make an LC song #1 is disingenuous. Before the public simply didn't know Ladies Code super well; it's not like they had this horrible opinion of her that was radically transformed by her death.

Also this is like the one sweet thing netizens have done this year. Don't take this away from them.

He should've kept his opinion to himself, emotions are high right now and shitting on this one positive thing that fans and people are doing for eunbi as a final gesture was an insensitive thing to do :/

i feel and understand what he tried (and failed) to say. i'm sure he didn't mean wrong, just expressed it terribly and in a bad timing. but man, should know by now that as a sort of public figure there are things you just cannot say like that even if they are not really wrong or bad. think twice and you keep it to yourself ! or share your thoughts just to your personal entourage and friends and family. not on twitter~~~!!

What is up with all this "bad timing" or "bad wording" tomfoolery? Ain't nothing that'd make the sentiment any less insensitive and gross, as far as I am concerned. However you slice it he's still saying "y'all only care about this group b/c one of them is dead." Um, no shit? Is it that shocking that occasionally netizens can actually display basic human decency and want to do something nice for the group and their fans after a tragedy? (OK, it is kind of shocking, but not in an unwelcome way).

I agree with him on one thing; he should've really kept his mouth shut.

Right? Like, not everyone knew or cared about her when she was alive, but that doesn't mean they can't pay their respects one last time. Basically, "you can't care about someone after they die if you didn't care when they were alive".

His logic doesn't make sense. It's not nonsensical for people to get together and mourn for someone that died even if they didn't know them personally while they were alive... This happens all the time when a musician dies.

I also think it's really sad that they reached #1 only after such a tragedy and not when Eunb was still alive and could witness with her own eyes :(. I think he meant that too but the way he phrased it sounded insensitive.
