Sunny Reveals Which Girls’ Generation Members Use Insoles on “Happy Together”

Girls’ Generation member Sunny made an appearance on the August 28 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s variety program “Happy Together,” for the ‘Tall vs. Short’ special, and revealed that the shortest members of the group sometimes use up to three layers of insoles.

During the show, the topic of insoles was brought up. One of the male guests confessed that he uses about three different insoles at a time, comparing it to women’s heels, and said that his ankle is still fine even if the insoles bend.

After hearing this, Sunny said that she could relate, saying, “There was a time that I was dancing on stage when that happened. During ‘Into the New World’ and ‘Oh!’ we wore sneakers. The tall members don’t need to wear insoles, but they started to use insoles in order to have better proportions.”

She continued, “That’s when we [the shorter members] have to start wearing more and more insoles. Those members are Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Jessica, Tiffany, and me. When the tall members put in insoles, then the average members have to start wearing insoles too, which means I have to put in three layers. There are side effects though. The shoelaces are hard to tie and the sides of my feet are visible,” causing everyone to laugh.

Yeah I watched it bc she's my ultimate fave and I would watch the worst of things for her haha It started out okay the middle was good, and then the end was just a mess :( I hope her next drama is better. I wouldn't even mind if she had a supporting role as long as she was in a good drama with good actors. She still has a lot to learn so it would be good

Trot Lovers was my first time watching eunji act and i was really impressed by her skills! This girl is reviving my hopes that Idol actors can exist.Although the storyline lost it's steam around the end, eunji made it bearable tbh to make it through. I am going on the lookout for her and cant wait to see her grow more as an actress

She is VERY good for an idol actress and I think thats definitely why she has gotten offered decent roles. Reply 1997 was such a once in a lifetime, breakout role for her. I don't think anyone else could have taken on that role (of all the idol actors).

She has improved quite a bit. She was very natural and funny in 1997, but she wasn't super great at facial expressions. In That Winter the Wind Blows, she had a supporting role and she had to do a Seoul accent (apparently people thought her accent was awkward but I'm not korean so I honestly can't tell if someone's Seoul accent is awkward lol) but in Trot Lovers she definitely improved as far as facial expression and range. She's the kind of person that continually improves in everything so I have high hopes that her acting will continue to improve as well.

Sorry for the essay but I have a lot of Eunji feelings lol

I've heard that Zea's Siwan is also a pretty decent idol actor but I've never seen anything of his.

Definitely going to check out her other dramas as well! I've been planning to marathon Reply 1997 for sometime now thanks for the reccs^^. Yeah I can see eunji rising above and making herself a huge name in the industry because this girl is amazingly talented

I have hard good things about him in dramas such as the moon embracing the sun/triangle also his memeber hyungsik is not bad either.speaking of other idol actors, Im really excited for Krystal's drama my lovely girl(bless her for making the heirs more fun to watch). kinda excited to see if actor jung hon here acting skills in the lead role now.

Krystal isn't the best actress but she has a lot of charm and on screen presence so that makes her watchable. I'm debating whether or not i should watch her new drama just bc there are SO many idol actors lol but I will probably give it a try. I knew Heirs was going to be terrible from before it even aired but Lee Minho was my first kdrama crush so I had to watch it for him. She was cute in it and most people think she and Minhyuk were the only bearable part haha
