Kim Hyun Joong Postpones Enlisting in Army Due to Overseas Schedules

Kim Hyun Joong’s agency revealed that he has postponed enlisting in the army.

Keyeast Entertainment, Kim Hyun Joong’s agency, told Newsen on August 28, “It’s true that Kim Hyun Joong has received his draft notice to enlist in the army on October 7 but the enlistment date has been postponed to next year.”

The agency explained that the reason Kim Hyun Joong has postponed enlisting in the army is due to his busy schedules, including the world tour.

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong was accused of repeatedly assaulting and injuring his girlfriend A on August 22.

Girlfriend ′A′ stated that she has been dating Kim Hyun Joong since 2012, but from May to July, she was allegedly assaulted four times in Kim Hyun Joong′s home in Songpa-gu, requiring two weeks and six weeks to recover. 



Regarding the accusation, KeyEast stated, "After checking the facts, the two people knew each other since 2012, but only started dating in recent months. While dating, they got into verbal arguments, and during that process, it is true that emotions riled up and there was a physical dispute, but it is false that it was a repeated offense in the period of two months like the reports say."


The agency also stated, "KeyEast and Kim Hyun Joong will reveal the truth through a close investigation and will participate diligently in police investigations. Concerning already set schedules, as these were already promised early on, we will continue the basic ones. Afterwards, we′ll work on solving the situation to the best of our abilities before going into a time of self-reflection."

Kim Hyun Joong will be carrying out his world tour concert in Guangzhou in China on August 30, followed by Peru, Mexico, Nagoya in Japan and Beijing, China.
