it's funny because I'm the opposite, I thought 6jib was okay and for me Butterfly is the worst song I always skip it, along with rockstar of course lol
so far i like it from the tiny little bit given to us. but i'm still going to be rather conservative and wait. usually teasers just highlight the best parts....they don't show any hidden messiness.
but i hear YYJ's big band influence (think HoMin from the beginning of this year) at the beginning of the video.
i hear that yyj big band influence too. i thought i was listening to something from the 1920s than from a western. anyway, the whole concept for this comeback is confusing, so i guess the music would be too in a way. lol!
I really really liked like 2-3 (maybe 4) of the songs here. And some others I could, too, I guess. It sounds way better than 6jib and that makes me happy.
I also think 6jib is better than 5jib.. and the repackage made it even better (strangely I really love SPY). From You will always be my jam, and I love the ballads there.. the song I mostly skip is SFS..
I really like the last album, especially Spy repackage. I enjoy most of the songs, but Only U especially makes me sniffle. It's a pretty song, but then you read the lyrics that Leeteuk wrote and I get all emotional.
Very reminiscent of 3jib in terms of the songs, actually. And it sounds good so far, so let's cross fingers that the whole songs will sound like that too.
I'm curious as which one is Shirt too. I have high expectations because of Donghae, but low expectations because of OneSound.
Apparently someone said that Shirt has "latin" feels. Idk what that means, but none of those songs sounded "latin" to me.
Still, I do like the general feel of the album. It's a bit slow for my taste too. I'll be honest and say that I've loved all of SJ and SJM singles just because they're so loud, obnoxious and work-out worthy.
on first listen they all sound the same aside from one or two songs...like they blended seamlessly for me.... it doesn't sound bad. but no "wow" factor either. better than expected tho, so I'm still anticipating.
