B1A4’S SANDEUL CURRENTLY UNDERGOING TREATMENT FOR PARASITES IN HIS LUNGS

B1A4’s recently revealed on an episode of MBC’s “Quiz to Change the World” that he is currently undergoing treatment for parasites in his lungs.
During the show, Sandeul had a conversation with the guest doctor about parasites. The guest doctor, a specialist in parasitology, explained to Sandeul that he may have pulmonary distomatosis and said, “If something goes wrong, the parasite can enter your brain. Being on broadcast is not important right now.

However, Sandeul revealed that he was receiving treatment and taking medication as well.

The conversation initially was brought up when Sandeul mentioned that many peoples bodies contain parasites. The doctor explained that about 1.5 million people in Korea have parasites. This is when Sandeul mentioned that he has a parasite in his lungs, where a hole forms in the pocket of the lungs.

When the doctor asked if Sandeul had eaten freshwater crabs, Sandeul explains he ate a lot.

We hope the best for Sandeul and that he recovers quickly!

that kind of reminds me of a program I remember watching a while back where I guy had been hospitalize after complaining about not feeling well and his head hurting..his family later found out that he had a parasite that was eating away at his brain.

Doctor: The parasite is a bit more harmful than other ones because it can affect your brain. Are you receiving treatment right now?
Sandeul: I’m receiving it
Misun: You’re receiving it? Right now?
Sandeul: I keep going
Doctor: You should go quickly, this broadcast isn’t important right now
Sandeul: I’m taking medication right now

The lung problem was discussed in a KBS Vitamin episode earlier this year iirc.

CNU might have the same problem as Sandeul because they both have the poorest lungs condition among all of the guests there. Which was super shocking to everyone. :(

I'm glad that they went on the show and Sandeul and probably CNU too are receiving treatment for that.

Nematodes, protozoas, trematodes, flatworms, external parasites are all parasites - Every one of us will definitely have more than one species of parasite living in our body.
