Netizens have uncovered a video broadcast, first uploaded on July 11th, of what they say appears to be AOA member Chanmi glaring at Choa during a live broadcast.
Netizens pointed out Chanmi towards the end of the video, who they say is seen glaring at Choa. All six members of AOA are seen the video, singing their recent comeback song “Short Hair”.
Three members each stand side-by-side with another three across from them in the room for Super Junior’s “Kiss the Radio.” Around the 3:09-3:15 mark, netizens point out that Chanmi is seen smirking at the floor, before possibly glaring briefly towards Choa’s direction as she was singing the chorus. Then, Chanmi continued to sing her part, in which she gets lost for a second or two and has to catch up to her part.
Netizens have still been commenting on the video, with perspectives ranging from defensive to blunt regarding Chanmi’s behavior. The majority have criticized Chanmi, while sticking up for Choa. Here are the translations from the various comments K-netizens have posted on the official YouTube channel of “KBS CoolFM”:
“Choa sings the best, and the girl twice to the right of Choa [a.k.a. the one] with the blatant face expression and [who] looks like she has no manners sings the worst… The tall girl across Choa doesn’t really sing well too… The rest could be seen as on a good level in terms of idols~~ But what I see as a negative factor for the team, is that two of them are singing happily, while the facial expressions of the rest are basically rotten;;;; They’re a rookie group but they already have problems;;; They must be going crazy being unable to attack each other due to their self-doubt and criticism.”
“It’s not the radio [appearance] that you’re seeing, but they filmed it live during the morning so the camera had no focus.”
“That song is living thanks to Choa unnie.”
“Except for Choa, why are all the kids like that? Do they think they have the right to do so after winning 1st place?”
