EXO’s bodyguard reportedly arrested at Nanjing airport

Reports have started to surface that EXO’s bodyguard was arrested at Nanjing Airport, on August 16th.

EXO, who are currently in Nanjing for the Samsung Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games, arrived at the airport to a huge mob. While the group is used to having fans arrive at the airport, the overwhelming numbers may have been too much for security this time.

In a video, you can see Lay in the background, yelling at the bodyguards to be stop being so aggressive with the fans and to treat them better.



While at the airport, what appears to be EXO’s bodyguard was arrested. Reasons for the arrest are still under speculation as there has yet to be an official release or statement from any parties involved.

This is such a huge mess. It's why I feel that posting about how proud you are of fans coming to see your idols in the airport just not something good. But this had gone beyond that. The managers are a mess but the fans are a mess too. I feel so sorry for Exo. airports are bad enough without having people screaming, pushing and flashing you with bright lights. Not to mention groping.

Well if he's arrested for assaulting fans, that's good. Some of these idol managers use such excessive force.

BUT at the same time, some of fans are fucking crazy at airports. Why is it so hard for people to just stand at distance and take photos? Why do they have to mob their faves and grab and grope at them? It's so disgusting.

I guess for the managers/bodyguards, there are dozens of fans trying to swarm and get to the people that you're supposed to protect. Shit gets out of hand. Doesn't make the managers' behaviour acceptable but there's faults on both sides.

What a mess. SM needs to stop being cheapskates and either pay for the VIP exits or hire properly-trained security - EXO are clearly worth the investment.

Not even a fan but I feel sorry for those dudes, seriously - just watched the latest episode of roommate and Chanyeol's segment really hit home how ridiculous and insane their lives are. Traveling everywhere overseas but never being able to leave their hotels because there's fans waiting for them outside and at the lobbies 24/7, hotel floors just full of bodyguards standing outside their doors, it's just nuts.
