Kangta said that the one with the theme park was an unofficial one shot for a cable channel. Like, one of those random things they filmed. Then everybody liked it anyway so SM never bothered to make their own video for it.

don't like the format of this show, they should do something instead of sit and talk for 50 minutes... but kyungsoo rly cracked me up with the dna thing and the hammer thing lmao, and it's fun to watch them interact with seniors

Chanyeol was ok in the MV, I was cracking up at the end though. His acting is so cheesy.

The show is interesting and hilarious at some parts, but it's kinda meh overall.

Why do I feel like this show was developed to promote the Rookies while keeping an Exo facade? Then it was given a throwback format to appeal to a larger audience, cos you got the first-gen idols (the guests), the present-day idols (Exo) and the future idols (Rookies), so basically there's something for everyone. I kinda dig the format of the show though, and I don't mind the Rookies cos I knew SM would eventually start inserting them everywhere. I guess what's putting me off is how SM-centric the show is lol.

I found the original HOT music video to be waaaay too overly dramatic for my tastes, so even though I don't see the logic behind remaking this particular HOT Song (since we hear it at SM concerts all the time anyway, not that this is a bad thing because Hope is beautiful and summons forth all the feels), it was at least pleasant.

Plus, they didn't touch Outside Castle. I love you, Chanyeol, you are my deep voiced chimp looking prince, but if you and yours attempted to do Outside Castle and jacked it up, well, we would have words... yes we would.

TBH i was very disappointed with the video remake. lol
since I knew it was going to be Hope, I expected more plot like the original one but meh.
I'm very biased over exo m and chanyeol is one of the only ones I like in exo k
