So I was watching this episode last night in bed. Then the part where she was in the bed and the creepy ghost under her blanket popped out , I almost threw my iPod across the room. Lol that shit was scary!

I adore Surplus Princess so much! It feels like a comic book come to life with all its absurdity and antics but I can see there’s a lot of heart too.

There are so many pop culture references too that kill me and music cues that make me guffaw with laughter. Every time Attack on Titan is referenced, I laugh out loud. You can tell that the people who are behind this drama watch dramas and are totally up to date with pop culture. It’s brilliant! Jo Boa’s so charming too.

Also sharehouse! Makeshift families! A main struggling to find a secure job, such a relatable dilemma and especially relevant to graduates today. Mermaids! Puns galore! Whats not to love? :D

The GTA/video game sequence in episode 2 though, omg that was amazing. It's such a fun show! Thankyou tVN.

i swear its like an easter egg hunt to find the next pop culture reference. terminator, sailor moon, attack on titan, gta, ywcfts, 'some' by junggigo and soyou. like some references fly by and the scenes are still funny but its so much more fun when you understand them.

the gta sequence was based on snl korea skit that actor is famous for, it's hilarious


this is the first version, there are tons of them, like white day gta, gangnam gta etc

I know, I've seen them! Half of why I love that sequence so much. It's still so funny in every rendition of it. My non-kpop friend showed it to me a while back and he was all 'watch this and cry' lol!

I just started watching this because of this post, mainly because i'm doing my hair (I have Natural hair) so i have alot of time to kill.

I just finished the 1st about to watch the 2nd and i love it. Haven't enjoyed a Korean drama since the one with Yoo Ah-In, and it is the first comedy that i have liked in years period. I hope they continue with the writing style it could be a big hit.

I'm liking this so far. The attack on titans moments were killing me. tvn dramas are awesome. Those odd, zany moments and sounds effects are great.

During the scene in the gif, my only thought was that there are probably a lot of women who haven't experienced that kind of thing for themselves.
