who knows. but the show was five hours long....when they take it on the road, things change and sometimes the time gets shortened by an hour or two.... something has to give and certain performances may get cut. it really depends on the venue they go to, and time they start.
and just learned that the reason she even sticks to them is because they've got dirt on her and she would be owning them so much if she filed a lawsuit. I am glad SM is showing how they have no interest in renewing her contract. But shit, good luck to her if the 10 yrs count from the days of her debut because that would mean another 2 years in that shit hole. :/

if i may ask, where did you learn this? just curious. i've been wondering too for the longest time what makes ZLY stay in SM. just assumed she's just really patient.
a friend that used to work in the industry told me as much. No idea if it's true but she was right about other things so who knows. And I say dirt but it's just that she had a few contracts (both private and public) in China signed before SM recruited her and they had told her they would pay her more than the contracts. She was sold on that but SM never told her about the chance of lawsuits being filed against her which one or two companies did. SM settled on at least one of them, so she is in debt to them.
If it is true it is very shady of SM because she had every intention of fulfilling those contracts but they wouldn't let her meet with the agencies to commit to them.
I think I would only believe that if there are receipts to it. She was 13 when she was recruited by DR Music at a singing contest in Sichuan through a Chinese talent scout. The only settlement she would still be in debt to is the one SM paid to DR Music when DR tried to sue SM for Liyin. That was in 2007. She could still be in debt now, but I don't think it's as many Chinese contracts as your friends makes it out to be.
Well, I was told the only receipt is to access some court documents that can be found online using her parents name because she was a minor. I have no idea how that works in China.
There were only 3 contracts, I believe DR Music was one of those since I was told it was taken public. The other two were not made public and were a lot smaller in comparison. And I just read that the DR lawsuit was for 200m won, it would have been impossible for her to pay that back if this is true. :/
Not to say I believe this, but well, it is SM and it could explain why she's still there when they've offered so little.
Yeah, if anything, I think it would be the DR Music debt, not the two Chinese ones. It's been 10 years, surely the small Chinese ones would be paid off.
I just think she has a lot of determination and persistence in not leaving. To pursue her dream. She has mentioned "fulfilling her dream" a lot this year on Weibo and in interviews. Besides, it's not like she has much contacts in China to break off from SM. =\ She needs to network like Zhou Mi does lol.
Sigh. It's the same old brand new SM when it comes to how Liyin being promoted and treated. You never fail to amaze me, SME, never fails to amaze me with how low can you get in treating your own artist like Liyin. And don't come at me saying that I shouldn't be greedy and to stop complaining because ~Liyin is given a storyline MV unlike other SME artists, PLS!!!~ ~she is marketed in China, not Korea so it's fair for her to have one song only!!!~ Those things will never justify the mistreatments and poor promotion SME has given her all of this time.
It's the overlooked artists like Zhang Liyin that are getting shafted by this sudden inclusion of trainees, which is doubly frustrating because SMTowns are usually the one place you're guaranteed to see them. :(
i'm less angry about liyin having 1 song, and more about SM forcing her stay the entire concert, when she performed the 7th song in - 1 SONG! - and then had to walk out on stage at the end for "hope", for a song she didn't even have any lines in. like, if they're gonna have her sing 1 song, then have her sing 1 song, but let her leave after. she had a 8:30am flight the next morning, and she could have used the extra hours to go home and rest before flying to her own "agape" promos the next few days. which consisted of being in 2 cities for 3 different performances in three days,
yeah, i saw those photos of them in the VIP box. liyin could have used her time much better if she took an earlier flight to beijing and spent time with her mom instead of be at this so-called "family concert".
i don't really expect much of collab stages from liyin any more. chocolates can barely expect 3 songs at SMTOWN concerts as it is.
;~~~~; She's so beautiful, ugh. It's a little disconcerting to realize that, having been following her since the tail end of 2009, this past year or so is the most active I've ever seen her be as an SM artist. She's so talented and hardworking, I still can't let go of the hope that she'll get the promotion she deserves soon.
