Lee Taemin of SHINee has official debuted with Ace & Danger on Music Bank, following the release of his "Danger" MV.  Described as sexy, powerful, an overall strong performance, capturing the attention of the audience. His complete mini album, titled 'ACE', which consist of 6 tracks will be released on the 18th of August.

YT comments are particulary atrocious and tumblr shawols still bash him because Onew/Jong deserved it better!!1. Also, some Jaejoong and BTS fans saying he copied them, so I'm glad at least Korea is supporting him. Constructive criticism is okay but the hate he's getting is excessive imo.

Yeah, Jonghyun saying "don't sway at whatever people say" was really suspicious. People think idols can't speak/read a word of English but I'm pretty sure many of them can at least read a lot even if they can't speak it very well. He probably saw all those YT/other sites comments and that's why he posted that. I'm glad at least Taemin has him by his side. Even if he flops, having people supporting and comforting you is very important imo.

imho as much as I wanted a jongyu subunit or how I feel that the both of them deserved a solo too, taemin is the only one can give such solo presence like this. I mean, if jonghyun and onew go solo I bet jonghyun's more of his r&b composed stuff and onew is more ballad-y and easy listening. ofcs then can gave such performance like taemin too but I believe if they want to make their own solo album they would want to sound more like them rather than what sm has always given them no?

plus I think most i-fans didn't watch him grow like k-fans did, he was really babied when shinee debuted @ everyone's favourite maknae that time. he spent his childhood for this, even got hate and bullied at school because he's an idol and coming this far, people should be proud of him tho. ugh I think I rant too much but he deserves this T__T

ia. I mean as much as people would love to try and project a concept like this onto Jonghyun or Onew, lbr it's not them. They pull these kinda concepts off in Shinee as a whole, but it's not their personal style and I don't feel it's something they would choose to do solo...

Oh, I could see him doing it too and looking great. But would he really want to? The music he composes for himself to sing is pretty far away from this. While I think he does enjoy looking at different genres, idk if it's the route he would personally want to take if given the opportunity to go solo.
Plus while all of shinee are pretty good at dancing, I don't feel Jjong (or Onew for that matter) would want to focus on dancing as a part of a solo.

Mte. People keep forgetting that Onew and Jjong have never expressed interest in a solo album while Taemin has always said he wanted to do something on their own. I'm the first one that I'd love a Jongyu subunit or their respective solo albums but if they're not interested, people have to respect that. And yeah, if they ever go solo, it'd probably be with R&B/ballads/jazzy stuff because from what I've seen that's what they really like.

Idk? Many i-shawols know them since the very beggining. In fact, many people are complaining because "boo hoo, he's not the cute maknae anymore, what SM has done to you? T__T". So he's being attacked for the dumbest reasons right now.
I'm also fucking tired of the Jaejoong comparisons, and now even BTS stans are being a dick. Let the guy fucking live for once tbh.
