As of 5 August 2014, the most comments on a Sina Weibo post is 13,163,859, achieved by Lu Han (China), in response to a post made on 10 September 2012.

As of 5 August 2014, the second most comments on a Sina Weibo post was 7,913,107, some way behind Lu Han's post.



"Luhan set a lot of records on Weibo, and he again set a record of most comments. And Luhan is the first user to surpass ten million comments, so Weibo had to update their system because they only showed up to 9.9 million comments."
