We are the B.E.S.T Sister. Hello, we are SISTAR~.
"Touch my body, slightly quickly~ Oh everybody higher than the blue skies♪"
You can hear the rhymes only by seeing the letters? You sang along only by looking at the lyrics? Then we anoint you as SISTAR’s fan ‘STAR1’. Then you would be able to solve the next quiz also.
The answers are ② 4 members / ③ Some / ② Love Rides the Song / ③ Touch My Body in order.
This is too easy, right? Then you would be able to sympathize with SISTAR fans’ ‘SISTAR’s pride’ and even happy events that only SISTAR and fans know. There is a heart-touching story between them which was never released.
The second main character of being the ‘fan-lover’ which ‘Dispatch’ prepared is SISTAR and its fan ‘STAR1’.
We met SISTAR’s fans at a café in Sangam-dong on last 31st. That day SISTAR had ranked 1st in ‘M!countdown’. Fans were all excited than before.
There were 8 participators in total. They were in various generations of 20~40’s. Also we were surprised at their family-like atmosphere again. They looked like ‘STAR1’ from their appearance although they were far away, but we couldn’t miss out examining their belongings.
☞ Can you prove that you’re ‘STAR1’?

This outshines male idols, right? There were full of ‘rare items’ starting from placard, self-made calendar, and Polaroid selfies. But this is not the end. There was the great ‘SISTAR Zone’ in those fans’ houses.

"Convenience store? No, tribute items for SISTAR!"
The scale was ‘enormous’. What charms of SISTAR would have attracted them? First, let’s see SISTAR’s special A cut which ‘Dispatch’ picked. Watch out, they are so pretty!

They are really bling-bling. Have your eyes been comforted? Then let’s hear fans’ story now earnestly. Then firstly, shall we start how they fell into SISTAR~?
☞ The period of how they became their fans: In fans word they say it ‘entrance’. We asked about the period they got into SISTAR. Was it due to that 4 members were all charming? SISTAR’s entrance all varied. Especially, there were many fans that fell into them with first sight.
“I first saw Hyorin through KBS-2TV ‘Immortal Song’. She sang ‘Mini Skirt’ that time, and she was really good at it. Then I got interest in her. I went to the concert which was held nearby my house, and I fell into SISTAR swamp at that place.” (Looking at the STAR, 49-year-old male)
“I liked them since their debut. It was at the time of ‘How Dare You (2010)’ when I started fan activity earnestly. The member who I fell into at first sight was Soyou. I had the thought of caring her. She has the charm of stimulating father’s love. (Laughter)” (HGoona, 40-year-old male)
I was studying in Korea since 2012. I wasn’t interested in SISTAR that time but I accidently watched KBS-1TV ‘Love Rides the Song’. And Dasom was really pretty in there. After that I live in SISTAR” (Ms. Tina, 28-years-old female)
“How could entrances be so variable? (Laughter) I like Bora. I watched ‘Alone’ stage and she was performing really hard. Then I accidently won the fan event and went to see them really. She had the best fan service. I get cured by her bright image” (Only Bora, 28-years-old female)
☞ Cool Ma Boy~? : The modifier of ‘cool’ follows SISTAR all the time. There were controversies over their attitude due to this. Fans all said it’s just a misunderstanding. They say SISTAR is very truthful and careful than anyone else.
“There is something that SISTAR always stresses to fans. It is ‘strength of food’. (Laughter) Especially Soyou often gives out snacks to fans in front of the broadcasting station. She takes fans to the nearest convenience store and tells them to pick whatever they want, and she buys them with her own credit card.” (Only Bora)
“They seem to practice English for overseas fans, announcements like ‘Thank you for coming’ or ‘Have you ate?’ If they see overseas fans, SISTAR speaks to them first. So many overseas fans have increased.” (Ms. Tina)
“SISTAR has once performed on water. Members got all soaked that time. And Bora said she had to go and change her ‘pants’ although there were many male fans (laughter). Those members think of us comfortable as family. It’s something to thank for” (Looking at the STAR)
“I have received tributes from them. Members gave out fans in the way of them heading for ‘Music Bank’. There was a cute signature in it. They say that it’s a present for fans that were waiting in the scorching sun. It’s a small present, but I really thank them” (Someday, 25-year-old female)
“I have one more thing to tell you. There was this ‘Dear project bracelet’ which I gave to them in last June. It was a bracelet which its profit was donated for children who had heart disease and abandoned dogs. I put my purpose on that meaning but SISTAR kept on wearing in for more than 2 months. It was so cool.” (Someday)
☞ Touch My lachrymal gland: There is a story which is too sad for only fans to know. Fans that gathered this day told touching stories of them between SISTAR. It is hard to hear without tears (?). Member’s humane images hardened fandom.
“This is a story which only few fans know. Actually Hyorin is continuously volunteering in abandoned dogs’ center. Recently fans followed her. She was skillfully caring those dongs and putting away their secretions. I was so proud of her doing good deeds without letting people know.” (Shooting STAR)
“I went to see SISTAR when there was an arduous happening to me. My eyes met with Bora’s while those members were heading for their van after their schedule. She patted on my back without reason and I cried. She consoled me.” (Only Bora)
“After I fell into Dasom, I visited the shooting scene of ‘Love Rides the Song’. I wrote and gave a letter that time to her quickly, and Dasom came to me to say greetings. I was so surprised. Dasom is an entertainer but she cared for me. I got choked up.” (Ms. Tina)
“I bought the ticket heading for Japan when there was the showcase in Japan. But I noticed that I booked the same plane with SISTAR on the departure day. I hid in the duty-free shop in order not to get misunderstood as a spy fan. But I got caught. But members liked that I was going together with them. They talked to me throughout the time of us in the plane.” (Someday)
☞ My heart does not get controlled: Girl group fandom seems weak? Nonsense! ‘SISTAR’s fandom has the power which can compete with boy group fandom. They cheer SISTAR with more than a hundredfold decibel in music broadcasts. They stay over the night by preparing SISTAR’s present.
“We prepared food at the drama shooting scene recently. We felt really bad for Dasom who could not eat much due the shooting time. I could prepare well due to fans that trusted and helped me although I’m a foreigner. This is one of the proudest moments.” (Ms. Tina)
“I’m really good at supporting too. I have done a lot. I have folded hundreds of paper planes for the concert event. I can stick stickers on presents without opening my eyes. My veranda is full of supporting items.” (JJingJJing Bora)
“I made a capture album of ‘Invincible 2’ in order to make Bora a memory. It could be made by computer, but I cut pictures with my own hands. I didn’t sleep several days. I couldn’t stand up well later” (Only Bora)
“It seems like I’ve become a photographer. I wasn’t interested in cameras before I started to like Soyou. I bought a DSLR and lenses in order to take pictures of Soyou, but I’ve became a god of photography. Haha. I learnt to study Photoshop for the first time. I gave Soyou a calendar which I made by myself in the first part of the year.” (HGoona)
“I contributed in Korean Wave tribute culture. (Laughter) A Saudi Arabian fan requested help to make a cake to SISTAR. We made a cake together with short English skills. And it became the proudest moment as a SISTAR’s fan.” (Someday)
☞ Loving U~ But…: Fans care SISTAR with the mind of ‘be the same as now’. But they have desire something from them. It’s the moment when fans’ decibel was the highest. They all say, “Please be healthy always and show us various stages”.
“Recently SISTAR’s singing ability is getting attention again. Fans are so proud of them. We’ve never worried about SISTAR’s live. We’ve discussed on making them focus on the stage by keeping our cheering sound down recently. Don’t be astonished by our low cheering sound~.” (Shooting STAR)
“I hope that their solo concerts would be added more. I dislike members having hard time being busy, but members could fill up their desires freely if they have those stages. I want to see images of them that couldn’t be seen in music broadcasts. (Someday)
“I have the same though with Someday. I want to meet SISTAR in many concerts. I like them now enough, but our members have much talent. I hope to see stages of various genres such as a cappella or hip hop.” (Only Bora)
“Members have the tendency of doing too much without caring for their health. It can be seen in fans’ eyes. We know that they are having hard time in the back, so we feel quite upset when they smile brightly on stage. I hope them to take care of their health since we know that they have hard times.” (HGoona)
