same. such a bittersweet feeling, we're happy because they're coming back and we get to see them more but we also know that we shouldn't expect too much from the music *sighs*
as awesome as it is, that they tease us, play with us like they do to rile up the hype for their albums/comebacks.... it is kinda sad that they are taking the lead on the promotions over their own company. lol but that is our suju.....they really are the best people to promote themselves.
this is one of the biggest problems with SM, they understand that they need to go all out to promote debut acts. but for their established ones, they barely promote them besides a few tweets right before and maybe one or two facebook things...and sadly most of the things they post on facebook are reposts from stuff SJ themselves have already posted.
and it is interesting how they are going harder promoting SS6. although, they do make more money on tours than they do for an album. (and they gotta pay those taxes! lol)
sometimes i don't understand how a big business such as SM has so much trouble doing proper multiple promotions. they didn't even use FB or Twitter or any social media (outside of Korea) until SJ started using it and realized there are fans there too to connect with.
i really think SM got too big too fast and they don't know how to deal with it.
SJ does get shitty promotions, but they aren't the only ones. f(x), recently BoA and even HoMin post debut of the official twosome began.
and lately you can see some of SNSD getting the shaft in promotions. not as bad as SJ or fx, but it is slowly starting. and i don't prescribe to the marketing theory that you don't put the time and effort into acts that are already establish. sure you put more into the newer groups, but you still try to get new fans for the older groups to keep that money rolling in.
sorry, but this is one subject which bugs me when it comes to SM.
same here, sm just keeps pissing me off abt this. they really just treat their artists as a product you can phase out and replace even when there's no need as the older groups still bank a lot of money. also ive always seen sj as their trial and error product >_>
SJ from the start was the group that wasn't suppose to exist....amazing at how it grew, influenced, expanded (subgroups and fans) and still makes money when they aren't even active for two years.
Watching SM and their business/promotional practices for all their groups has been quite interesting. The seem to be super careful when to comes to trying out new ways to promote/social media/expand...while other groups/companies are pushing ahead.
sj doing well despite everything should have been a slap in the face for sm and wake sm up. but nooooooooo.. it makes me cry tbh. at least give them a fucking good title track and I will stfd
I would say more frustrating than interesting but that's just my sj bias screaming
seems like arab elf got something https://twitter.com/Raho0of/status/498301351659458560?utm_source=fb&utm_medium=fb&utm_campaign=WorldwideELFs&utm_content=498329986932428800 (https://twitter.com/Raho0of/status/498301351659458560?utm_source=fb&utm_medium=fb&utm_campaign=WorldwideELFs&utm_content=498329986932428800)
i am sticking by my original thought from YeYe's photo of YeHae that was deleted.... Donghae's hair is BLUE! that wasn't the lighting because YeYe's face/hair would have been blue as well.
also i'm guessing from that photo from dance practice, there is a matador like theme or a latin influence (Siwon's stance and the bull horns)
which makes me scared. oh so very scared. cause this can go really really good or really really bad.
this comeback should be interesting, i'm curious to see how'll heechul and leeteuk fare with tony testa's choreo lol. I know there are far worse dancers in Suju but this is their first promo in a while so they might be rusty. Kangin was definitely a bit slow during SFS comeback.
Praying we don't get a random dubstep breakdown in the song
