IU Talks about Girls’ Armpit Hair on “I Am a Man”

IU advised a male audience member on a rather funny topic of armpit hair during her appearance on the very first episode of Yoo Jae Suk‘s talk show “I Am a Man.”

On the August 2 episode of the program, a male audience member brought forth a problem he had. He introduced himself as a dance student, and went onto say that he was really surprised to see that his ballet partner had a lot of hair on her armpits. He said that he didn’t know what to do, and asked IU what he should do in these situations from now on.

IU advised him to not say anything, adding, “she probably knows as well. Women have too much to be concerned about.”

In another instance on the show, she raised a lot of laughter by revealing, “when women are busy, some would just wash their bangs. When they wash their bangs and put their hair up, people think they actually showered.”

I will always laugh at how horrified men get at the concept of female body hair. My same guy friends who say "well, then don't do it." when I complain about waxing will be the first to scream like toddlers when they see leg hair on their girlfriends.

I have to shower every morning because I live in Florida and I feel gross otherwise but I'm not even going to pretend I wash my hair every day. Takes too much time and my hair would dry up like straw, especially in the winter.

Sometimes ain't nobody got time for that. But in the summer it gets so uncomfortable that I really just can't stand it. Ugh, t's just too hot! In the winter though everything goes into hibernation and no fucks are given.

Michigan gets super hot some summers and just shaving legs and arm pits helps with the not having to constantly take showers every day because you smell

This show is kinda gross. Men only in the audience, hooting and hollering at macho things said on the panel, whenever women's perspectives are brought up loud booing, typical alpha male-ish attitudes struck. Surprise Jaesuk took it on as host tbh.

I'm sooo lazy to shave/waxing sometimes but I do it because I find body hair kinda gross in general tbh. I also can't stand when guys don't shave because of laziness. I swear 99% of guys sport solid beards here lately and I find it yucky :/

puahahaha I totally use to do the "only wash your bangs" thing until I dyed my hair and invested in dry shampoo for my lazy days in order to preserve my hair color for longer. dry shampoo is seriously the best invention ever
also I don't shave my armpits, I use an epilator or wax, so I generally have to let my hair grow back in a bit between each time so that the methods I use have something to grab on to to work properly. some armpit hair is really no big deal tbh

personally the only reason i shave legs is the feelings right after you wash over all the shaven legs with water and going straight to warm bed and rubbing your legs against each other is probably the best feelings in the world
