Younha to embark on her first international tour with the help of fans!

Solo artist Younha is planning to complete her first ever international tour! However, unlike normal tour announcements, the locations of her tour stops were not announced, but have been left up to fans to decide!

Younha has partnered with MyMusicTaste, an international concert making platform, which allows fans to place requests for a tour stop in their area. This approach to planning Younha’s international tour is a new concept that will allow artists to plan their performances based on fan presence in all parts of the world.

The talented singer and songwriter first made her debut in Japan with the release of her first album, “Yubikiri,” in 2004. From then on, she received great acclaim for her talents in both Korea and Japan, winning many awards for her singing along the way. Throughout her career, Younha has collaborated with many top artists including Im Jaebum, Kim Bumsoo, Toy, and more.

Additionally, in anticipation of her tour, Younha recorded a video message to her fans in English! In the video, Younha asks her fans to “Stop wishing, start making,” encouraging them to participate in the MyMusicTaste request system.

Not the first K-Pop artist to do this, but it'd be interesting if a company like SM Entertainment followed a process like this ;)

THE REAL REASON EVERYBODY SHOULD VOTE ANYWAY is because Younha is fond of smaller concerts! She's done a few of the little theater-esque ones and she seems to mix overseas events (festivals/concerts that she performs at) with mini-vacations to the same place, so depending on the number of people show interest, she might actually come!

(It would be lovely if SM did something like this so we fans could show that we exist. The odds of it happening though... -_-)

Right? The entire site is kinda neat, the way the concert organizers contact these fans in trying to help get sponsorship and stuff from that city, bc ofc, these fans would be the ones who know the city better than the organizers themselves. It's kinda productive on both sides actually! Wish SM would do something like this even just to test audiences, even if they would never commit to the actual cities.
