Jung Kyungho says he will propose to Sooyoung if he wins the ‘Best Actor’ award

Actor Jung Kyung Ho recently revealed that he plans to propose to girlfriend, Girls’ Generation member Sooyoung, on the day that he receives a ‘Best Actor Award.’

On the August 3 broadcast of MBC’s “Section TV,” Jung Kyung Ho and actress Jo Yoon Hee, who were both chosen as goodwill ambassadors of animal rights and protection for the second annual “Animal Film Festival in Suncheon,” appeared as guests to take part in an interview.

During the interview, the reporter mentioned to Jung Kyung Ho, “I heard that the puppy you’re raising, Ho Young, was named by taking a part of the names Jung Kyung ‘Ho’ and Soo’young.’” In response to this, the actor shared, “That’s one of the reasons.”

In the past, Jung Kyung Ho had made a statement on a television show talking about his future proposal plans, saying that he would like to propose to his girlfriend during his acceptance speech on the day that he receives a ‘Best Actor Award.’

On “Section TV,” the reporter brought up the fact again, asking if that previous statement still holds true, as Jung Kyung Ho had made that comment before news of his relationship with Sooyoung went public. The actor shyly replied, “Yes.”
