A great big NO to that ending. Why. Why? I just wanted them to hug. I'd have rather had a cheesy happy ending where they didn't have to lose another family member.

This drama was great and even though I was late posting about it, I'm glad that those of you who participated, continued posting. Until the next one!

I WAITED FOR THIS!!!

I made a post on tumblr just so I could copy and paste my rage rawwwr

So I just watched the finale to Triangle, and I am so disappointed. They only had one episode left- one episode separating Triangle from perfection, and they finally messed up. You really couldn’t let Yangha live? Really? And on top of that, you have Yangha saying useless stuff as he dies? COME ON!

At least let him give up on the evil man that raisd him. To the end, that guy wasn’t a father. He wasn’t even mad or sad that Yangha was killed. He was just pissed it was done so sloppily. How could you write Yangha telling Youngdal and Dongsoo to leave him alone?

What was the point of the USB that wasn’t even mentioned until the last episode? How can Youngdal really be happy when Yangha, the brother he felt most responsible toward, was killed indirectly because of him? Was it really that hard to imagine Yangha with a happy ending? He deserved one. He even had a woman who genuinely liked him. What was the point in killing him off? You already killed their mother and father!

Just have Yangha get stabbed, but recover. better yet, what if Youngdal corners Papa Yoon in his office, and in a fit of rage, Papa Yoon threatens to shoot Youngdal. Yangha bursts in and Papa Yoon i slike, you need to choose.

Yangha hesitates too long, and Papa Yoon decides to shoot Youngdal. In that moment, Yangha chooses, screams “HYUNG!!!” and takes the bullet. In shock, Papa Yoon drops the gun, while Youngdal hugs Yangha’s body to himself. A secretary or someone comes to see what the noise is (hey it can be that adjusshi who got Yangha adopted in the first place) and they call the ambulance.

Papa Yoon stays seated in shock while Youngdal rushes off to the hospital with Yangha, and Yoon either shoots himself with the last bullet, or waits to be arrested. Bam. Excellent ending, with the same amount of emotional impact, and the same results.

Lastly…I was ignoring it until now, but Dongsoo’s woman joined the American FBI? Or is it that she is being trained for the Korean FBI in America? Either way, it doesn’t make sense. You have to be American born, or at least an American citizen to get a position like that. And why would Korea train its top secret agents in America? So yeah…unless I missed something, that makes absolutely no sense.

I’m guessing they had to write her actress out for whatever reason, but then, that was an excellent time to kill off a character. That or just say she’s going to school. No need for the FBI to be involved. O_o Okay. I think I’m done with my rant for now.

Note: A user on tumblr told me they changed the ending because Siwan (who plays Yangha) had to go do a commercial or something, and couldn't film to the very end)

Kim Jaejoong explained, “The drama has ended and I know I can speak up about it now, but honestly, Jang Dong Chul’s death was certain. He was supposed to die at the airport on the way to attend the Hold ‘Em Championships. However, the drama was extended by two episodes, so the ending changed. Im Siwan had other filming schedules and could only attend the filming of one extended episode, so that is why his character Jang Dong Woo died instead.”

Kim Jaejoong further explains, “Oh Yeon Soo, who plays Hwang Shin Hye, had to go to the U.S. for personal family matters, so we weren’t able to film together at the end. Lee Bum Soo and I had time, so we were together until the very last episode.”

Yigads! That's awful! If they had killed Jaejoong, I would've flipped my laptop! Thank you Siwan! Thank you! And damn the writers for their obsessive need to kill at least one of the brothers. T__T

I was so sad when Yangha died. I truly wanted him to live happily with his brothers, even though I kinda hated him for being so stubborn. His death also felt rather anticlimactic imo, Like, he died, but the episode dragged on and on irregardless. I think the extension was a mistake tbh.

I'm happy Youngdal wasn't killed off as originally planned (I would have cried). Since I liked Dalhee a lot and I'm glad they had their happy ending, at last. They deserved it.

Whatever happened to the grandpa who helped Youngdal tho? Did he live? Did he die? I guess we'll never know. :(

Thank you for making these posts OP! <3

The extension literally ruined this drama.

If anything, that's the thing I'm most upset about. All the other things...I'm just so disappointed that a drama that had REALLY GOOD POTENTIAL to make an impact emotionally (with the bros) just....didn't. The ending wasn't awful but the fact that Yangha died so easily...LIKE HELLO, CAN YOU CALL AN AMBULANCE OR APPLY PRESSURE...DO SOMETHING?!?! I know part of it was that Siwan had scheduling conflicts but...come on, script writer :( after everything you've put into him, that's the death you give him????

I'm just...really sad. Glad it's over, but sad to think what could have been.

Also...MAD WE'LL NEVER KNOW THE MYSTERIOUS BACKER OF JUNG MADAME'S CASINO >:(

Triangle had so much potential... too bad the slow pacing and terrible storytelling killed it. I was so happy that they got the extension since I thought it would give them another opportunity to strengthen the story to make up for the lackluster beginning but no. They instead managed to ruin the drama. Yangha's death did him no justice whatsoever. If anything, this once again shows why I hate the live filming kdramas do or whatever the hell they call it.

Before I would have said the finale was a huge disappointment. The moment I saw Siwan at the airport I knew Yangha would die. Yangha's death is terrible suicidal and unloved his entire life and then when his heart is wavering...murdered

However after JJ revealed Youngdal was supposed to be killed in the airport while going to the World Texas Hold Em tournament I think I find this ending more acceptable.

Honestly a real twist would have been for all of them to live...the author was way too focused on killing one of them

Lee Bum Soo and Kim Jaejoong...I hope your third drama together is the charm...you did a great job as Jaejoong's acting teacher and older brother

Oooh, I'm so disappointed about Yangha's death! I remember how many times they tried to kill Dongsoo and the ambulance came in time to save him and now nobody even tried to do something! It's stupid and really disappointing!

But at least not Youngdal was the one who died!

I feel bad because I really liked this drama, until the last two episodes I could maximally concentrate on it - I tend to fall asleep if it gets boring - and it happened again with the last episode!

Honestly I think they should have stuck to the original plan and killed off the main character. If this is what the extension (and Siwan's schedule) gave us, then i don't want it. Anyway, Siwan showed some good acting while he died with the terrible lines he was given so props to him.

Overall I still loved the drama though. The cast was great.
