My curiosity got the better of me and I decided to check out just what the bloody hell occurred in the episode bar the subs. Safe to say that shit was a clusterfuck of embarrassment and mediocrity. From Snacky getting cut in favour of Jidam to Jidam (and Hanbin's) unprecedented floppage to those bogus results. Mnet sure did a fantastic job of testing my patience I must say. There were a few stand out moments (only a few!); Olltii, Iron and Cjamm performed very well however, the crowd was clearly biased and I felt they held back on visibly showing support to a few contestants (Giri esp seemed a tad deflated towards the end of his performance despite the promising start).

At this point they should probably hold auditions for audience members, too. Like...what do you actually know...about what you are coming to see and judge? lol. That voting was all kinds of wrong.

B.I has been forgetting his lyrics so he ends up coming up with lyrics on the spot, which is not bad per se to be able to freestyle and keep going. However, B.I does seems to forget his lyrics often. Even on Win, he did forgot lyrics during the YG vs JYP battle episode.
I don't think they are focused on either, actually...I suspect some of these guys freestyle anyway even if it's not asked for and whenever contestants tied and they had to go again it'd have to be freestyle, it seems (though maybe some have a bunch of lyrics they know and can fit to a beat). It's whatever you can do, I guess. You can even catch some people thinking on the spot, sometimes.
Fuck the PDs of this show I hope this is the last season and everything those PDs work on in the future flops. I feel so bad for Toy. She's better than me though because I wouldn't of done this trash because I know the PDs ain't shit and being there is a waste.
Cringefest. Is he actually ill or he's going through puberty? His voice breaks so much and he seems to have troubles properly breathing (didn't they teach him that at YG?).
You know what, I don't think so. For example TOP learned how to rap in the underground, and the one that learned at YG, GD, according to some people I know that have gone to his concerts, breathing is an issue with him. I thought it was cuz he was a heavy smoker.
Imma need you to back off. Neither TOP or GD are bad rappers, they have breath issues but so does everyone else under YG except for Minzy. He raps a certain way now because that's his voice as a rapper, but he's been around the block since he was like 12, he knows what he's doing.
*flips hair* ppl stay sleeping on TOP. he needs to stop smoking but i thought he was GREAT when i saw BB perform on their tour. if nothing else he radiates power and presence.
TOP is one of the most legit idol rappers in the game and like the only one who has gotten the memo about not walking around looking like a 90's hype-man reject in order to maintain ~*street cred*~
i say he's been at it longer than GD because he was actually allowed to develop AWAY from YG which def gave him enough perspective to continue growing his own way once YG loosened the leash.
It's called show me the money and i guess it would be the equivalent to the x-factor (where the judges have teams and people audition, put on performances etc) but for rappers lol
Yeah, I didn't get that either. Maybe the subs will clear it up for me but I would have kept Snacky for sure. I think it was between Snacky and Yook Jidam, too? Would have still kept Snacky, lol.

I thought him going into Dok2 & The Quiett's team that they would make him tone down? Because both Dok2 and The Quiett are more adapted to a mainstream audience (not saying they dont swear) but if he's like this he should have just joined swings team haha.
This episode was so frustrating. I was fuming. I couldn't pass half time. The only thing that was worth it was iron's perf. But so much YG elitism. Tablo eliminating snacky chan was just the beginning. Then the fangirls voted BI as second. They even voted for that middle school girlgirl trainwreck a lot higher than giriboy. What are people thinking???
I want to drop this but im staying for iron and giriboy. But the amount of fangirls in the next preview....

Iron was honestly such a pleasant surprise!! i wasn't expecting that kind of performance from him :) and from the previews for next week (which thankfully, looks better) he seems to carry on with that kind of level. What did you think of giriboy's performance though? it was pretty different from the usual style we see him do
I'd rather pass the idol va otilli part because I'd rather see a proper diss battle and not have fangirls around to go all bias.
Giriboy's performance was alright. He wasn't really giving his all. Hope he can turn it around. And idk if you know, but Iron was originally the leader for Bangtan boys before he left ;) so yeah, his rap skills are pretty awesome.

He is such a cutie. Google Jung hunchul and you'll find his pics and videos. One of them was with rapmon. I mean, they're both still a part of DNH so, happy he made a shout out at the beginning of his performance.
And I'm fangirling over his friendship with giriboy. Their instance pics are so cute.
