Synopsis:

I honestly didn't realise that I didn't make a post last week but it's just as well considering that totally unexpected turn of events
but I guess I can't complain too much because this drama has been makjang from the start. I'm just glad it didn't drag on forever...or so it seems. But can we please throw Soo In, Joo Hee and Director Wang off a cliff already? I'm glad Geun Woo finally told Soo In everything happened because of her - she needed a dose of reality. And the writers had better not redeem her character and make Geun Woo magically see her in a different light. Byul remains the best thing about this drama.

SO disappointed with the writers tbh, they had the chance to take this talented cast and the interesting premise that is "trot-loving underdog trying to make it in the music world" and tell a NEW AND FUN AND INTERESTING story, but instead they fall back on the trope of tropes.

You should check it out, it's cute and fluff (well it was till this week) and a good thing with this show is that it doesn't spend too much time on a conflict, so next week will hopefully be good again. I'm just disappointed that they wasted two episodes on a cliché without a payout.

god these past couple of episodes were so annoying -_- Episode 10 was cute bc we got to see chun hee and jun hyun being cute together and then BAM the amnesia card. Its not like any other dramas are getting amazing ratings, so the writers should have just kept it cute and simple instead of trying to get ratings by pulling out the biggest cliche in dramaland.

Also people really like Eunji's singing scenes so if they could have just included more of that, that would have been great. sighhhhhh.

She's been doing too much sad singing the last couple of episodes, the scene of her singing to help the kids was nice to see. I swear it's like the writers don't read anything the viewers are saying online, which is odd because some dramas depend too much on public opinion.

Mte. Shin Sung Rok's character is pretty much the only reason why I'm still staying with this.

The entire amnesia thing was like a direct lift from Boys Over Flowers (and probably another drama I haven't seen)...complete with awkward hospital run ins, and a lying coniving girl keeping the "confused" male lead, away from the female lead.

If anything, this amnesia bit made it all the more apparent how unworthy and what an a-hole he was prior to his fall from grace, and falling in love with CCH. I'm really tired of this evil man, suddenly changes bc he got a gf storyline in dramas tbh. I feel sad for ppl who think that shit happens a lot IRL.

Can we talk about how creepy Evil Hyung still is? I like his character, he's quirky (see OPs gifs) -but he's sooooooo weird and creeeeepy!

Soo In and her mother need to get caught ASAP - but 20 eps, so there's still a ways to go for come-upin's.

I had such high hopes for this drama in the beginning. It was so cute, snarky, and sassy, but then the amnesia thing happened, like you could see that was going to happen from a fucking mile away. They better end it in episode 13 and then proceed to thrown Soo In, her mom, and director wang into pits of fire.

Nooo why'd you have to go there drama? Isn't there anything else you can do to create conflict?
All the characters seemed fun in the beginning, but now I'll just stick to reading Joonni's recaps.
