Yooara and Yoonjo leave hellovenus

It has been revealed that members Yoo Ara and Yoonjo will be leaving girl group Hello Venus.

Their agency Tricell Media announced through the group’s official fan cafe on July 31, “It has been decided that the Hello Venus project, which has been a cooperative effort by a merger of Fantagio and Pledis, will come to an end in order to secure the development of both parties.”

Members Yoo Ara and Yoonjo will leave the group and join Pledis, whereas Alice, Nara, Lime, and Yooyoung will continue their activities as a group under Fantagio.

According to the announcement, Yoo Ara and Yoonjo can be expected to pursue careers in acting and continue their music career through special projects. The four remaining group members will release a new album and venture into acting as well.

The reps concluded by offering their apologies and thanking the fans, “We offer our deepest apologies for delivering such unexpected news to the fans, but the rearrangement has been done to enable the development of the members. We hope you will look over the six members’ future with an understanding mind.”

The group debuted in 2012 with the mini album “Venus,” and the members have since pursued activities in acting and variety.

hmm im sort of bummed bc there are a lot of four member groups around lately but at least my faves are still in..... do u think Yoo ara or yoonjo will join after school at some point? idk just speculating... anyway lets all talk about how good would u like some tea was

Oh man, you are so on point. Too many groups debuted at once and the market became over saturated. The problem is that there is so much talent out there with horrible marketing. :/ I've been thinking the same thing; we haven't seen the end of this. *sigh*

Funny, I thought Yoo Ara was already a part of Pledis. Actually, I thought only Alice and...I think it was Nara were under Fantagio and the other four were part of Pledis.

/sighs. Pledis' management sucks. I wish they would still continue the joint project or something like that T___T

They should really have full disclosure for fans before the group debuts, because the way this was worded it sounds like this was a known possibility.

Yoo Ara is highly likely to join AS at some point since she was in line for it before.

I'm upset about this!!!!! I was hoping for a comeback, and this is what I get? SMH PLEDIS. Though I am happy the other four are continuing on with Hello Venus, maybe we can get something this year? My fav Alice is still in it, so I hope to see her again. Not sure what Pledis has in store for the other two, as a HV fan I will miss them because Yoonjo was my first fav and Yooara is super cute.

they had quite a successful debut and then faded into oblivion. if they'd been promoted properly, they could've been the other cutesie girl group along with a pink :(

i imagine pledis will stick them in after school at some point. at least their career isn't over. though i can't imagine the group surviving without them. this isn't like when girls day/a pink lost members. these girls are their main vocals :(

Honestly speaking, I like HV more than A Pink, in terms of cuteness. And I know people will jump on me, but I think HS sing better than A Pink, minus Eun-ji.

iirc Fantagio were responsible for managing the girls' acting portion while Pledis for music/variety portions of promo
so i personally give Pledis more blame since the girls seemed to have no problem getting some acting gigs
but they haven't put out music for like a year and a half.
