lol that's quite a selective choice of predebut pictures. imo f.e. those seulgi selcas with kai and other trainees made her ps quite obvious (even tho stans obv will defend it as weight loss because that totally changes your facial bone structure like in wendy's case).
ps-free idols are unicorns. all girls are very cute but look so alike that i don't think it was a great idea to put them all in one group. i'm more curious about their predebut singing/dancing talents.

It's really hard for me to call plastic surgery because I swear if people see my pictures from a couple years back they'd think I've gotten some too. It's weird how much weight loss and puberty can change your face. After all, the story of the ugly duckling precedes the start of plastic surgery.

Not saying these girl's didn't get any though lol. PS free idols are 1/100s.

I wasn't born with double eyelids, but now I have them. And this isn't unique to me... weirdly enough everyone that I know that grew up and naturally got double eyelid were Korean. My mom actually threw some pictures away of my sister because she was afraid people might look at it and accuse her of plastic surgery when she didn't. LOL.

People are constantly changing. I can't imagine anyone looking the same from two years prior. It's called aging. I had signs of double eyelids after high school, but it got pretty permanent after college. My friend's cousin naturally got hers even before puberty. Like 9/10. It's weird. But if someone saw pictures of her or me when we were children and us today, I wouldn't be surprised if people thought we got things done.

I've always wondered why people jump gun and call such changes as PS every time. It's so weird. I had super flat nose when I was young. Only started growing when I hit my teens. I'm pretty sure most, if not, all people would tell me I got PS just because hello, I now have nose bridge. I find it frustrating and rather sad that ~simple changes like "oh HMMM seems like her nose changed" is now considered PS. No one trusts anyone to be PS-free in the idol industry anymore but they make it seem so bad.. and shameful.

they really dont look alike. i sometimes cant recognize members when i find a new group but thats bc i dont know them. they will be clearly different to people once they do.

and i think im mosly bothered by people claiming they dont mind ps and it should be respected as a personal decision in other discussions, while at the same time its talked as something that somehow makes the idol a lesser being in others, like they dont deserve the same respect or praises bc of it . its not as straight up in the comments but somehow in the tone of the conversation? or maybe im just perceiving it that way and its not the posters intention. i dont know, maybe its bc they're nugus and/or people are still pressed about what happened to f(x), but most kpop idols have had ps and its not something they or anyone else that gets it should be ashamed of. yet i get the sense they did something sameful (if they actually did bc im not that good in catching ps) in the tone of the latest posts about them...

and i also dont think i've ever seen this much discussion and analysis of ps about boy groups about to debut.

it's the same thing for me every time. sometimes they dont look alike TO ME and i know that theyre not some kind of clone people keep on saying. you know.. that's soem kind of excuse they make bec they cant distinguish them. the usual "oh seems like they had ps from the company. now they aaaall look alike boohoo"

I think Joy stands out the most so I don't know what people are saying. IMO, Seul Gi's eyes really differentiate her from Wendy and Irene. The only members who I think have a lot of similarities is Wendy and Irene especially when they're far from the cameras. Their difference are reaaaaally subtle.

This girls have been around for less than a week and people are already trash talking about them getting surgery and what not. Sometimes i can't stand how misogynist the kpop fandom is.

They 4 of them look very pretty and idgaf about if they lost weight or if they did surgery or not.
