I didn't really want to be the first to comment, but I did not enjoy this episode one bit. I'm not sure if it was the translations, but it was heavily scripted, the games were boring, everything seemed in vain because it's another predictable win. No point having Ryu Seung Soo in either, he was so unmemorable and had little screen time. (._.)

First and only comment ah ah! It seems people agree with you! Or maybe because my post was late?
Generally episodes like that tend to be heavily scripted. There's no way they'll allow anyone but the person they've planned the episode for to win. They really should get someone other than Jong Kook to have those "revelations" because he's so unnatural. Him and Suk Jin are the worst actors.

When Gary said he knew he was the prince the second Jihyo was announced as the princess, that pretty much summed up my feelings for the episode. Everything was so obvious, especially Jihyo's role because if it weren't that way, she wouldn't end up with any screen time at all. They could've done a much better job with the whole dwarves thing - a mining game where they had to sift through things and find something, even. But mostly it came off as a poor version of the Battle of the Gods of Olympus episode. I have to wonder if the poor writers are just stressed out and lacking ideas after 200 episodes.

It reminded me more of the horror special. That time Suzy & Ji Hyo ended up being secret ghosts too.
Sometimes they really don't know how to capitalize on something. Like you have a great guest like Ryu Seung Soo and he's barely used.

I meant more in the "use this special action to get this one person out" thing from Olympus rather than the obviousness. The Olympic one wasn't as obvious. Though I do admit I thought the "champion belt" was either for Gary the boxer or Sparta Kooks. Oh well. The only thing that surprised me that time :P

But yeah, Jihyo is often the surprise just because she's the only girl :/ Sometimes I wish they'd just drop her because the guys would have less restrictions on what they can and can't do... but she's a really good competitor so I'd miss her.
