SISTAR’s Hyolyn revealed the reason got a tattoo on her belly.
During the second mini album Touch & Move showcase launched on July 21 in Ilchi Art Hall, Cheongdahm-dong, SISTAR’s Hyolyn said, “I had a big scar on my stomach. I got a tattoo on my belly in order to hide the scar.”
Hyolyn added, “The scar was a big complex. I wanted to wear pretty clothes and show more awesome sides of me. I’ve been envious of the others members until now but I’ve finally found a way to cover the scar.”
She explained that the tattoo means to ‘sing for someone.’
Finally the SISTAR member shared, “I tried harder than other times to lose weight. I put a lot of efforts into my looks so other people don’t feel uncomfortable watching me. I was also motivated by watching the other members working hard on their individual activities last year. It’s meaningful since we’ve gathered in a year and two months. We will work hard.”

But it did not stop there. A year later, she was diagnosed with intussusception and had to receive an enterectomy. Because of such surgeries, Hyo Rin to this day does not have a gall bladder nor does she have an appendix.
