i never understood that considering the origins of the phrase is based on horses winning the derby/preakness/belmont. it would make 100% more sense if it was winning at least once on each music show.

Aw, Sulli get better! As much as she isn't the most energetic onstage, it doesn't feel like f(x) without her towering over everyone onstage, haha. Amber and Luna are seriously killing it, though. Poor Krystal, she looks seriously disoriented/sick in the win video, get some rest, girl! They need to feed these idols, FFS. The outfits are fab, though.

edit bc i posted my comment earlier than i intended:: although... tbqh, imo, it's refreshing not seeing sulli's "omg i'm so fuckin bored why am i here ugh i hate this shit" expression & complete lack of interest in performing the dances w/ any sort of energy, etc. don't miss her at all in the group setting. /shrug

i hope she feels better, tho. the schedules/diets/pressures/etc. they're under are horrible. i hope sm is letting her properly rehydrate/refuel/rest... & i hope the rest of the girls will feel better as well. in a group setting like idols are in, i wouldn't be surprised if they just kept passing their cold to one another. :(

Re: Sulli though, reactions seem to be along those same lines -- 'since when do (SM) artists get let off for a cold/flu when you have people singing w/ nodules and performing w/ injuries'. So some people are wondering whether it really is just the flu (and those pregnancy rumors are coming back).

Sulli is really loved in SM, she had birthday bashes with LSM when she was little but even then it does seem strange.

Not even gonna touch the whole pregnancy stuff because some people really are just insensitive

He was sitting or standing but not dancing during the performances. He wasn't sick so he's probably fine.
Same thing happened with Tiffany when she sprained her ankle.

There are colds, and COLDs, though -- if you are unable to get out of bed without stumbling and feverish, even sitting in a chair next to the stage to sing isn't going to work. But... it does still seem odd which things they have to work through vs get to rest through.
