shit got real at the end of episode 10, oh man.

it still looks highly improbable that jin woo and soo young will end up together though. on another note, i thought it was pretty weird of min suk to get her drunk to tell her his secret, what did he expect?

actually, someone said that jinwoo and sooyoung are on better terms in the episode 11 preview? i didn't see it myself, but here's jinwoo will be able to recover from being such an awful person to her.

lol @ that ending. So dramatic, yet obvious. The writer set it up nicely, but instead of being shocked I was just laughing.

The writer already messed up SY character by having her jump from a 2 year crush straight into a the arms of someone she's know for a month, so I could definitely see this same writer having or female lead go back and forth between the guys as they both continuously prove to be asses (very DC-ish).

I always feel like snicker every time a character is described as "quirky, hard-working, kind" because that all translates to weird, no actual talent/use/purpose in life, walked all over by acquaintances (mainly because they only have 1 (evil) friend).

That's what really got me into this drama the first 2 episodes trick you into thinking their these 2 adorable pals taking on the man and getting things done. Instead their just flirting and having relationship drama. Where's the light-hearted corporate espionage???

I'm loving the evolving bromance! Although the fighting is a little overdone, I'm in forever ":ooo" every time YJW is about to snap. If I was there I'd be the asshole egging him on, like damn, that boy went ham!

I'm still rooting for the age appropriate OTPs (the writer is really trying to redeem YJW) and JSY makeover (she's soo bland and... blah).

I need big bro to come and fuck everything up. I'm talking stealing his bros girl, taking over the company, etc, etc. This show is getting a little too lovey-dovey for me. (I can't take their super sweet flirting for more than 30 seconds)

At the very least they need to give him a decent excuse for all his bs (hopefully connecting the chairman with their parents' deaths).
This show had a good blend of slice-of-life meets rom-com but now it's so focused on the romance that I'm hoping for it to go makjang just to get away from all the "luv u soooooooooo much... [insert love triangle scene]... will they/won't they?!"

Ugh im so pressed that i ended up not liking this drama. I was looking forward to it since those articles about castings wer released bec SEO IN GUK and LEE SOOHYUK!!!! Like it's a dream team!!!!!

Like, it's not even that i think it's a bad drama, i just really hATE the direction their going with the OTPs.
I was hoping they'd go the route of emily owens md where the writer revealed, they had two characters get together so they could get it out of their system and finally move on to those who they're supposed to have their happily ever after with. But we're already at ep 10. And she just found out he's a highschool kid. Or maybe she doesnt find out and it's a fakeout whatever. So i really have just lost hope. I keep fast forwarding through the episodes and just stop at those scenes where lee soohyuk is being handsome while brooding, or taking a shower. Lol.

it's a good thing marriage not dating just came right at the time i started feeling disappointed about this drama now i really want a Seo In Guk and Han Groo pairing, drama gods make it happen!!!!

I can see how she would need a fun! youthful (first love-ish) romance before she could properly jump int a mature, serious, long-term (probably marriage because this is Korea were talking about). And he's at the perfect age for puppy love. Plus both the second leads have a bunch of crazy they need to deal with before anyone's going to want to date the.

OK I just finished it and I absolutely do not want this pairing to be together so when EP 10 happened I got excited again because that means shit's gonna get real, FINALLY, and hopefully that will dissolve this pairing.

I want to trust in Sooyoung to be smart about this because so far she's been quite a reasonable character. She rejects Jinwoo at every turn, tells Minsuk that they should be honest as a couple and she's really good about saying no. As long as she doesn't run into Jinwoo's arms I'll be okay. I don't want any of these people to end up with each other tbh (except Minsuk's friends, they're the true OTP) but I know that's not gonna happen.

Even though I hate Sooyoung/Minsuk I thought they were really cute together when they were happily dating. :3 I guess I should clarify and say that I do actually like them together just not as a couple, but more as friends/coworkers.

Sometimes I feel bad for Jinwoo, like nobody in his life cares/cared enough about him except for Sooyoung (who still has to keep him at an arm's length) but he went and fucked all that up.

The only good thing to see about the main couple is that Min Suk is always trying his best to be a gentleman. Other than that, I am not really buying the childish dynamic between the two.

the age gap between soo young and min suk is ridiculous to me but only because he’s an 18 yr old high school student and u can TELL even when he’s being all cute with her—-u can totally tell! he’s too damn young for her! their whole relationship is built on a massive ass lie and also—-chicks before dicks! sisters before misters! ah young before min suk!

i wish they didnt make me start to like ah young. it was SO MUCH EASIER to ignore her feelings when she was a full fledge stalker. i wish they never did that to her character in the first place because aside from her obsession with “hubby” she is actually really badass and i LOVE her scenes with soo young.

also, i have a lot of jin woo feels.

it should be jin woo and soo young but jin woo be playin’. i get his upbringing was rather abusive (his dad used to beat his mom—-why am i not even remotely surprised?) and that his attraction to soo young is half cause he likes who he is when he’s with her and half cause he hates how he is when he’s away from her. i think even when he was starting to like her he ended up ruining shit because he most likely didn’t feel that he deserved to be happy AND despite EVERYTHING he still wants his father’s love. screwing over min suk requires screwing over soo young in order to get some small margin of approval from his douchebag daddy so OF COURSE he did it.

i hate jin woo more often than i love him but i feel like the writers r fucking up with his characterization. right now, i’d say 90% of his character is built on kdrama tropes. i’m sad they deleted his scene with ah young—-it’s one of those few moments that he feels REAL instead of like a caricature.

anywho——back to soo young and min suk——i hope they reconcile soon because their partners-in-crimeship scene in the first episode gave me so much life.
